Lucid (透きとおる Sukitōru ) is a material type available in Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II. Lucid materials contain the essence of emptiness, and are colored clear.
Design
In Kingdom Hearts II, a Lucid Shard is represented as a hooked, somewhat translucent, black jewel. The word "lucid" means "clear" or "transparent”, hence the partial translucency.
A Lucid Stone is represented by three jewels, one shaped like an uneven cube and two with a longer, oblong shape. All three of these jewels are black and partially translucent.
A Lucid Gem is represented by four partially translucent, black jewels with facet cuts. The topmost jewel is the largest, the two on the sides are both between the other two in size, and the lowest one is the smallest.
A Lucid Crystal is represented by a large jewel shaped like a five-pointed star and three smaller jewels. One jewel with a facet cut is placed below the star-shaped jewel, and two shaped like diamonds are placed to either side of the star jewel. All four pieces are black and seem to be partially translucent.
