Shoot Lock is a new ability as part of the Deck Command system in Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep. It requires the player to lock-on to multiple enemies and then unleashing an attack. Based on how many you can lock-on to you can also perform a Finish attack command.
Description
"A very strong multi-target attack called “Shoot Lock” for everyone that hits enemies that have been locked on. If the lock on number reaches MAX, you will be able to add onto your Command, which once completed will do a Finish attack. There will also be more in multiplayer!"

Terra
- Star Burst: Multiple blasts of light fire from his Keyblade to hit the enemies. The input command is to continuously press
. “Fly shining blasts of light!” “Rapidly press the button to release the Finish command.” It bears a striking similarity to Holy Burst used by Riku. - Ultima Cannon: Terra transforms his Keyblade into a massive cannon and fires at enemies. It bears resemblance to an attack used by the Lingering Sentiment in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix.
Aqua
- Rainbow Shower: Light in seven colors bursts from the Keyblade and chases after enemies. Press at the right time in the circle to input the command. “An attack with light in seven colors.” “A spiraling light whirlwind, a rainbow attack, again!” It bears a striking similarity to Sora's Ragnarok.
- Bubble Blaster: A giant bubble is around Aqua and attacks by releasing smaller bubbles that chase after enemies
Ventus
- Photon Charge: Rush to locked on enemies for multiple hits. If the lock on number reaches MAX, a pillar of light raises for a Finish attack. (The information for how to input it isn’t written, but according to last year’s movie you have to hit the button once at the correct time.) “Lock on to all enemies in the area.” “A straight attack with the speed of light!” It bears a striking similarity to Riku's Dark Aura and Sora's Sonic Blade.
- Pulse Bomb: Ven holds his keyblade backhanded and sends out energy from the light of the Keyblade, causing many small explosions. The orbs created slightly resemble those used in Sephiroth's Shadow Flare attack in Kingdom Hearts II.
