KrytenKoro - Most bears were content to live their lives, mauling and eating one, maybe two humans at most. "Mass-murder," as the bears always said, "is for the sharks." But not Barry. Barry was different. He knew that one day, he would kill ALL of the humans. This is the inspiring, tear-jerking story of one bear and the dream he dared to dream.

This is why I wanted to work on this on my own (see Two became One, for an example of parsing error), but this is a good solution I can think of. What we need to do is compile the dubs for each name here, determine which ones are actually different from the Japanese name, and which ones are just parsed or translated slightly differently. If it's actually a different name, the original article needs to remain as a redirect to the dubbed name. However, if it was an INCORRECT TRANSLATION, like "Serendipitous Pair", the previous page needs to be DELETED AS A FAN-NAME. This is something that needs to be done carefully, as there are instances like the Mega Shadow being parsed without a hyphen in Final Mix, but with a hyphen in days. Both of those would be correct spellings.

When an article is moved, all templates and articles which list it need to be corrected as well. Furthermore, we might want to add a "See Also" section to the enemy articles (and get rid of that "Magic Heartless" category) for enemies with the same body-type, like the Soldiers and Dualblades. We will also need a disambig for ????.

Discussion

  • Is "Striped" an accepted translation of ストライプ?
  • Is "Skater" an accepted translation of スケート?

Enemies

  • [[Name]] (kana) ('''EngName if different''') => [[Days name]] (! if same) (*discussion)
  • Creepworm (クリープワーム) ! (change parsing)

Wait, have you already got the guide right now?

Haha, I guess you do.

Early birthday present. We're not really trying this year.

I've actually got a party to go to now, so I'm going to take a break from this until tomorrow. I'll try to post dub lists for the gears and weapons as well, and then I'll revamp the templates for Days Heartless and weapons so we can start that going.

DTN, don't forget to remove the translation templates after you move the pages.

Boss list

Days really stretches the definition of bosses, as most of these reappear as normal enemies later on. I propose that we only consider bosses the ones that 1) have an event battle and 2) either appear in only one mission, or are in the boss section of the journal. Then again, missions that specifically ask you to assassinate a certain Heartless could imply bossitude, though the guide misses some obvious ones, like the Unknowns and the Tentaclaw. We need to discuss this.

Also, Xigbar, Saix, and Riku's shadowy versions are not listed as "Anti-", or at least, the Anti's don't appear in the guide. Does anyone know if those names actually appear in the Ultimania? If not, then it's purely a fighting game type thing, where it's exactly the same character with a different palette.Glorious CHAOS! 02:28, September 26, 2009 (UTC)
