Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep
Don't expect these chilly adversaries to hold still; you'll need to lock on if you want your blows to connect. Use Fire attacks to melt them down to size. When in peril, they pull out their most powerful attack, Deep Freeze. Careful you don't get iced.

The Blue Sea Salt is an Unversed that is found in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.

Design[edit]

A Blue Sea Salt is a medium-sized creature resembling a blue pot. Its lid is black with a small, conical, blue spike on it. The base of the pot is also black, with two short spikes on it. It has a short, blue, lightning-bolt shaped "wing" on either side of its body. Its large, red eyes take up most of the front of its body and are set in an angry expression. The Unversed insignia is on its back.

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix, the Blue Sea Salt receive a palette swap which gives it a brighter, mainly sky blue body with a white base.

Like the Red Hot Chili and Yellow Mustard, the Blue Sea Salt is named after a color and a food.

Strategy[edit]

The Blue Sea Salt Unversed is a master of Blizzard magic. It attacks by shooting ice shards at the player or dropping a single mass of Ice on the player - these can be blocked to send the ice flying back at enemies to damage them. When its HP is low, it starts spinning on itself, creating a small tornado and freezing the player if they're unlucky enough to have contact with it in this state. It's best to keep your distance and block the tornado, finishing the enemy off with a reprisal. Since it is always in the air, aerial attacks are needed to defeat them. Fire based attacks or the Firestorm Command Style will deal great damage to it. Its fighting style is similar to the Blue Rhapsody heartless.
