The Scarecrow is an object built by Jack Skellington in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Jack spies on Roxas during his battle with the Leechgrave. The combination of Roxas's ominous coat and the Leechgrave's writhing tentacles gives him the idea for the Scarecrow, which he builds and presents to Dr. Finkelstein. Roxas passes by muttering, "I'm really not seeing it." when he realized it was based on him.
According to Jack, the scarecrow was meant to pop out of nowhere (inspiration from seeing Roxas use a dark corridor) and release bombs hidden in its robe via its writhing tentacles.
