Featured articles can be nominated by any user as long as they pass all required quota in the rules section below.

So far, we have:

• 11 articles featuring Kingdom Hearts exclusive characters (Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Roxas, Larxene, Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, Xion, Xemnas, Xehanort, and Ansem the Wise).
• 5 articles featuring a Heartless enemy (Guard Armor, Shadow, Grim Reaper, Leechgrave and Kurt Zisa).
• 10 articles featuring a World (Traverse Town, Awakening, 100 Acre Wood, End of the World, Land of Departure, Space Paranoids, Atlantica, Port Royal, Pride Lands, and Symphony of Sorcery).
• 2 articles featuring a sub-world (Christmas Town and Cavern of Remembrance).
• 10 articles focusing on gameplay elements (Sleight, Master Form, Treasure Chest, Avatar Menu, Aero, Santa Form, Keyhole, AntiForm, Jiminy's Journal, and Save Point).
• 2 articles featuring a Nobody enemy (Berserker and Dragoon).
• 4 articles featuring mini-games (Puzzle, Gummi Ship, Titan Cup, and Under the Sea).
• 6 articles featuring a Disney-based character (White Rabbit, Jiminy Cricket, Maleficent, Tron, Wendy, and Genie).
• 4 articles featuring a Final Fantasy-based character (Leon, Moogle, Gullwings and Cloud).
• 5 articles featuring a weapon (Oathkeeper, Ultima Weapon, Arpeggio, Kingdom Key, and Mage's Staff).
• 3 articles on a main game in the series (Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX, and Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance).
• 5 miscellaneous articles (Kingdom Hearts (series), Another side, Another story..., Removed content, Mission Mode, and Birth by sleep (video)).
• 1 article on Kingdom Hearts series merchandise (Kingdom Hearts Trading Card Game).
• 1 article featuring a Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days mission (Mission 93: Believe).
• 1 article featuring a Kingdom Hearts Olympus Coliseum cup (Titan Cup).
• 2 articles featuring an in-game Story event (Battle of the 1000 Heartless and Keyblade War).
• 3 articles featuring a song or collection of music (Piano Collections Kingdom Hearts Field & Battle, "The Other Promise", and "Under the Sea").
• 1 article featuring a type of enemy (Dream Eater).
• 2 articles featuring an Unversed enemy (Symphony Master and Mad Treant)
• 3 articles featuring an item (Struggle Trophy, Wayfinder, and Sea-salt ice cream)
• 1 article featuring a manga chapter (Calling)

The rules for user nomination are as follows:

• All voters must have 200 total edits (check here).
• After a primary category of article has an article chosen to be the Featured Article, any other articles within this category cannot be nominated again for two months.
• To accurately select an article that editors can review for detail to the very last word, phrasing, and format.
• Articles can never be renominated after being chosen.
• In the event of a tie, the former nominated article shall be featured first, and the latter nominated article shall be featured the following month. All voting restrictions for that month will roll over to the following month.
• On the final day of the month, a staff member will close the voting, and voting for the next month shall begin.
• Please provide reasoning as to why you think an article is fit to be featured--remember, by featuring an article, you are presenting an article that represents the best work of its category. Whatever is nominated should be a model article for others that are similar to it.
  • Also try to provide variety in your nomination--our goal is to balance out the "demographic" of articles above, not add more character articles.

• Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance - When a famous person dies who voiced a character in the series, we usually feature that character for the month. Last week, Satoru Iwata, the president and CEO of Nintendo, died. We don't have any pages related to Nintendo, but I thought we could at least feature a game on a Nintendo console. I understand that you want to feature Xehanort, because of Nimoy, but the rules say: "After a primary category of article has an article chosen to be the Featured Article, any other articles within this category cannot be nominated again for two months." The rules, from what I figure, are there mostly to avoid a mass spamming of major character or world articles as featured articles over and over. It's kinda to encourage people to find other things on the wiki rather than elect because it's a major character in the series.
