Esuna (エスナ Esuna) is a technique introduced in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. It allows the user to recover from all negative status effects.
Mechanics
In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Esuna is an Advanced magic command that takes up one slot in the Command Deck and has a normal reload time of 15 seconds.
In Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Esuna is an magic command that has a memory consumption of 10% and a reload time of 11 seconds. Aside from curing the user's status, Esuna also restores a small amount of HP.
In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Esuna is a magic command that uses one slot in the Command Deck and has a reload time of 10 seconds. It grants +1 to maximum affinity and +1 to Magic when attached to a Dream Eater recipe.

Learning Esuna
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep
- Terra can obtain Esuna from a chest at the Aqueduct.
- Terra, Ventus, and Aqua can purchase Esuna from the Command Shop for 600 munny once five worlds are cleared or the command has already been obtained elsewhere.
Kingdom Hearts Re:coded
- Data-Sora can obtain Esuna from a rare prize blox in the Waterway.
- Data-Sora can obtain Esuna as an enemy drop.
- Data-Sora can purchase Esuna from the Shop for 800 munny once the player has cleared Castle Oblivion.
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance
- Sora and Riku can purchase Esuna from the Wheeflower Ability Link for 50 Link Points.
- Sora and Riku can purchase Esuna from the Yoggy Ram Ability Link for 10 Link Points.
- Sora and Riku can purchase Esuna from the shop for 200 munny, 160 munny on bargain days, after reaching Shop Level 4.
- Yoggy Ram learns Esuna at Level 1.
