Kairi's Keyblade is a Keyblade which appears in Kingdom Hearts II. It was given to Kairi by Riku in The World That Never Was in order to fight a swarm of Heartless attacking Sora. Like Sora's Keyblade, this Keyblade is for the Realm of Light, and while there are certain unknowns to why Kairi was able to wield it, it is known that it is in part due to the strength of her heart.[1]

The Keyblade is round and curvaceous to the point of appearing non-dangerous. One side of the hilt is formed in the shape of a breaking ocean wave, while the other is formed into a beige vine which wraps around the blade to burst forth into a bouquet of flowers for the teeth. A red silken keychain connects the hilt to the Paopu fruit token, a recurring symbol of the bond between Sora and Kairi.

Trivia

Kairi after receiving her Keyblade.
  • Kairi's Keyblade is only seen in one scene, and does not appear or get mentioned again.
  • The code to obtain Kairi's Keyblade for use in Kingdom Hearts II (US version. Codebreaker: 11CEF10C 000008BD) Simply equip the Kingdom Key and when you do, it will be replaced by Kairi's Keyblade. However, this Keyblade does not make contact with enemies, and when it is equipped, using magic or going into drive forms will cause the game to freeze, so combat with the weapon is impossible.
