A blazing crystal: the rarest of the blazing materials

Blazing is a material type that is found in Kingdom Hearts II used in Item Synthesis. The Blazing materials, representing Fire, replaced the Blaze materials from the original game. Like the other elemental materials, they come in all four forms: Shard, Stone, Gem, and Crystal. In addition, the Blazing materials are one of the basic eight materials, so collecting 30 Blazing Shards, 25 Blazing Stones, or 20 Blazing Gems will open those items for purchase in the Moogle synthesis shop.

The Blazing materials are assigned the color red to distinguish them from other materials.

The Blazing materials in the Japanese version of Kingdom Hearts II are known as Flaming materials.
