The Reaper's Wheel is a Gummi Emblem Heartless that is found in Kingdom Hearts II.

Design[edit]

The Reaper's Wheel's main body, true to its name, is a thick wheel. The center of this wheel is violet, its edges are black, and the two colors are separated by zig-zagging, pale yellow lines. The wheel is also lined by two rows of pyramidal, white spikes. The sides of the main wheel are silver and attach to two thinner wheels. These two side wheels are both predominantly lavender and violet with white highlights. There are two engines on each of the side wheels—one on the top and one on the bottom of the rim. The Reaper's Wheel has two small, spherical, black heads, one on each of the top two engines. Both of these heads sport glowing yellow eyes. A further extension on the sides of each of these wheels is a translucent, violet shield, each with a Heartless emblem emblazoned on both of their centers.

The Reaper's Wheel's name refers to its dangerous power—"Reaper" is a nod to the Grim Reaper, the Western personification of death—and the massive wheel it uses to move. A Joyrider is a person who steals a vehicle and drives it around with no particular goal. This could be referencing the ship's speed and recklessness.

Strategy[edit]

Its tactic involves ramming itself into the Gummi Ship, and it has only two to four damage spots, which switch at random each time it rushes forward. There are no alternate colors for this Heartless Ship.

Since they appear in the "Highway" missions, the Reaper's Wheel is always on a far-off single-path road, which can make it very difficult to destroy.
