Vanish (バニシュ, Banishu) is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, and Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. It allows the user to becomes invisible for a period of time.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Vanish is an enemy card effect that costs 30 CP to add to the deck and lasts for one reload.

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Vanish is an Advanced Friendship Command that takes up one slot in the Command Deck, has a maximum level of 1, and has a normal reload time of 35 seconds.

In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Vanish is a magic command that uses one slot in the Command Deck and has a reload time of 34 seconds. It grants +2 to both Magic and Defense when attached to a Dream Eater recipe.

Xehanort uses Vanish while battling Terra, Ventus and Aqua separately in the ruined Land of Departure. The major difference is the spell can last longer, making him more lethal as he uses his attacks. He cannot be locked on and can only be tracked via his blades. The best way to survive this is to keep dodging and use the finisher of the Rhythm Mixer Command Style to end the battle quickly.
