If you would be so kind as to double-check the Wiki's monaco if you are able. Whenever I find myself in the Recent Changes or certain articles, the Wiki's red background changes to blue and the background changes to match the ''Birth by Sleep'' wall paper. Only when I'm on a talk page or randomly on an article or other Wiki-space, does it keep its normal, ''358/2 Days'' theme. I'd assume it's merely a bug with Wikia, but this problem (which happened rarely on-and-off before) has started to become more and more common, at least for me. If you are unable to find any errors or even get a chance to check the monaco at all, I understand and apologize for the trouble. :::The effects you are seeing are all do to our wiki's customized common.js and common.css file. For example, the code for the game template would normally put it at the top left of the page, as a normal image, but we modified the css and js files so that the template's "div class" would be placed in the message section, at the top right of the page. When we added tabs to the wiki, we also modified this file. Finally, the Days background is due to code in this file which loads an image we uploaded normally. Our main logo is not affected because, by default, every wiki uploads its logo from a file with a certain name, so we can modify our logo just by uploading an image with that name.
:::For some reason, the js and css files will infrequently refuse to load, which causes you to see our wiki how it would be without the coding infrastructure we've brought up. This is almost certainly due to server troubles, not any coding malady on our side. But I noted another interessting thing: The stats from CoM and ReCoM are in most cases completely different. Also the Bradygames guide doesn't seem to cover the basement stats from the bosses. Finish Commands of all sorts could probably be considered part of the character's "abilities" section, while the Effects seem to be generic passive abilities, and should get their own pages.

The only scaned pages that I found online are the one's at [http://heartstation.org/gallery/birth-by-sleep/ultimania Heartstation]. But as you may already saw, there are no scans of the Mirage Arena in particular. But the [http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fworld-mognet.blogspot.com%2F2010%2F06%2Fbbs-complete-solution-mirage-arena.html&sl=de&tl=en&hl=&ie=UTF-8 guide] of [[User:MardukKurios|MardukKurios]] does cover all the seeds (one guide on gamefaqs too), he uses the Ultimania so the info should be correct. Now all that rememains are the stats.
 
The stats in BBS work like I explained for KHII in the other thread. Every normal enemy (like [http://heartstation.org/gallery/albums/birth-by-sleep/ultimania/bbsu%20051.png Bruiser]) has an HP and EXP coefficient that has to be multiplied with a value that is fixed for every level (and playable character in BBS's case I think). Now there are two different level systems in BBS, one for the [http://heartstation.org/gallery/albums/birth-by-sleep/ultimania/bbsu%20077.png Mirage Arena] (the difficulty level) and one for the [http://heartstation.org/gallery/albums/birth-by-sleep/ultimania/bbsu%20076.png normal gameplay].
Therefore a Bruiser in the Challenge "Day of Reckoning" (e.g. Round 1, 3rd wave) should have 90 HP whereas in "Weaver Fever" (e.g. Round 1, 1st wave) it should have 108 HP.
I didn't translate every stat and explanation, because I'm very slow at it, so maybe there is more to take account off. The stats may have also be changened in the NA/PAL version, I don't know. I hope some of this helps anyway.

The problem is, that the world maps consist of different layers which also vary in the space between them. If the camera position is changed, only the layers most close to the camera change it's position largely whereas the viewpoint on the layers at the bottom (the background stars and the clouds) change very litte.
Also because even the pathways are textured 3D models or vectors it's not possible to rip them with normal methods. Without ripping all models and building them in a new application or get control of the camera functions in the game it's not possible to get the real world maps.
 
Maybe there is a more simple solution, but I don't know if its accurate enough: The guidebooks provide their own world maps ([http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/2493/kingdomheartsmap2.png 1] and [http://img440.imageshack.us/img440/8113/kingdomheartsiimap.png 2]) which are more schematic. I could "remake" them with actual ingame textures and backgrounds. That's also a lot of work and because of their fanmade and semi-official history they maybe won't accepted as wiki material. :Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but the Keychains don't actually have names. Also, the way I see it, the form of a Keyblade is also a Keyblade, unless, well, it's a hoverboard or cannon. I haven't seen any descriptions calling them "Keychains", but there are plenty that call them "Keyblades" (like every one from BBS).

As for Days, the descriptions that start with "a weapon that" pretty much have the issue, and in the same vein, the form of a weapon is a weapon, in my opinion.
 
At any rate, I'm not saying that a Keyblade wielder has a lot of Keyblades, just that when they attach a new key chain, it becomes a different Keyblade (although it's still their Keyblade). I'd even say the Kingdom Key is a "form" of Sora's Keyblade, even if it is the "true form".
 
So, I guess my next question is (as usual), how do the Japanese versions handle it? ([http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DhWKv_ODW9M 10:50]) I don't suppose we can find the Japanese descriptions, can we?

This fills that gap. If they're too big and such we can make them smaller. They don't harm it by being there. Besides Sora had a similar experience in his own awakening so I don't see how they aren't valid to the article at least somewhere.
 
My past experience is you just don't like images near each other much outside of a gallery. Where on the Rumble Racing I had sought out images of each character in it. And because to you it looked messy, though I don't see how, only one image is used.

I know it was very complicated to implement the BBS stats tab for the three characters, but I think even now it doesn't cover all information, which can even lead to false assumptions.
The main reason why the stats are varying greatly for the characters and the worlds have one simple reason: the Battle Level.
I'm most likely telling you nothing new, just to make this clear: the Battle level is the golden number that is shown on the world map before landing an the actual world.
Because TVA visit the worlds in different orders, the battle level is mostly never the same on the same world. But that's only the beginning. Through events, I haven't figured out completely (maybe it's just the end game save with the star or the used difficulty), the battle level changes near or after endgame. Radiant Garden gets the Battle Level 10 for Terra, while 9 for Ven and stays 6 for Aqua (but goes up to 10 in Final Episode). So the stats for the [[Flood]] would be false in Terra's and Ven's case, if the Battle level change occurs .
Because the Battle Level is so important, wouldn't it be better to use it as foundation for the stats and not the location?

*better overview: dismiss the Terra, Ven and Aqua tab, just one for normal gameplay and one for the Mirage Arena
*if coded correctly: only the multipliers of HP and EXP would be needed to fill out the stats of every regular enemy because strength and defense are fixed

I want to get rid of their Japanese context and replace it with the English translated on a friend of mine did for me on the Narutopedia. Says I don't have enough "space" on computer. I read a few things online saying that PhotoShop CS5 takes up about 300 or more disk space on a computer. I only have 31.4 GB fee of 221 GB.


So, I've been deleting some of my old junk in order to make room. But everytime I go back and check on the Local Disk C, the number doesn't change.

Well, the ability tree for each Keyblade starts with only 4 or 5 abilities available, with the others being unlocked as the Keyblade level goes up. So with the [http://heartstation.org/gallery/albums/coded/ultimania/recoded%20036.png Kingdom Key], Auto-Potion, Medic, Magic Boost and Attack Boost are the only abilities that can be activated. As more abilities are unlocked (in this case, Spirit Magic, then Shell, then Protect, and finally Spirit Attack), you have the option to select which one is activated as you fill up the Clock Gauge. So once you've got Kingdom Key 3.0, you can choose to activate Shell at Clock LV2, Magic Boost at Clock LV3, and Spirit Attack at LV MAX, after which you use your finisher and the gauge empties. Or you can choose to activate Spirit Magic at LV3, and you'll activate the finisher instead of going to LV MAX. [[File:AFinishRCO.PNG]] The finisher symbol indicates the end of a path through the ability tree. At this point, once your gauge has filled up its current level, you can execute your finisher. Once you've done that, your gauge empties to LV1, like when using a finisher in BBS. (This means that only the LV1 ability stays active)
Now you also get the portable info box forced, and many functions in the old templates are no longer working. Some of the lower-level abilities let/make you activate your finisher early if you choose that path. So if you choose a path through the Kingdom Key tree that lets you use Spirit Magic at LV3, you'll use your finisher without going to LV MAX.

Yes, this Fandom employee had undone it yesterday and if I change it again, I risk a block. They also ran a bot that also removed other links to here. Images that ShardofTruth created, have at least some meta-data, that contains that the images only for KHWiki.com is. Fandom is becoming more and more arrogant. They have also bought up the old domain name for our old independent KH Wikia. Fandom considers this wiki here as competition. Jimmy Wales and his staff are all about profits. If they overdo it or take over one-to-one articles from you, they would have to report it because of DMCA's violation via their special contact. I strongly disagree with the removal of talk sprites in Galleries. They are official art designed for the game, ripped by fans, just like the Days talk sprites. It's a nonsensical double standard why Days talk sprites are allowed and not COM. If you use the argument "they're also used as someone's personal textbox", I don't see why it means we can not allow them on the Galleries. There are many instances where pics are on both mainspace articles and used on people talk pages, in their templates, etc. It does not have to be "one or the other" and there is no harm them in Galleries. I view it as overt pedanticism hurting the wiki and preventing official art from being archived and easily available.

I made a thread about this in the forums, but everyone's been ignoring it lol.  Though to be completely fair, there's so much stuff going on at the moment that it's totally understandable that it flew under the radar.  So I'm gonna bug you about it!  I want to make a very minor change to the world infoboxes, so that they display the world logo by default rather than the world icon.  Unfortunately, I honestly don't know how to do this or what it would take.  I'm not suggesting any other changes.  The reason why I'm insisting on this is because world logos is something that literally every world page has in common, while many lack official world icons. As a result when someone enters one of these pages, all they see on the infobox is a missing red link.  Sure you can obviously click on the logo to pull it up, but again, it just looks better if it's already there when you enter it.  That's the only change I want to make to the infoboxes, nothing else.  The other thing I want to suggest is also to create some sort of default N/A (or just No Image) icon for worlds that don't have one.  Destiny Islands from BBS comes to mind, as it's just a fuzzy white ball.  Just something so we don't have dead image links populating the infoboxes.  But that's secondary to my initial suggestion.  Do you think we can do this?  --[[User:Samoa Joe|Samoa Joe]] ([[User talk:Samoa Joe|talk]]) 06:23, 9 February 2019 (UTC)

When you ask about Terra-Xehanort, Roxas, and Xion and why they don't have to return back to their own time, I guess it's my understanding that they aren't time traveling. Specifically with Roxas and Xion, we know that's the case. Xion is a new replica made by Vexen based on the old data from her original form. They don't say how they had that data so there's a plot hole there, but she's definitely from the present. I don't think she even identified as "Xion" until Sora says her name, at which point I assume that her heart left him and entered her new body, giving her form. With Roxas, he's the heart from within Sora and the replica body that Demyx sneaked out to Ansem the Wise and Ienzo. I guess when they completed the body for Roxas' heart and his heart resonated with Namine, that broke the space barrier and pushed the two together?

Terra-Xehanort is more tricky but I think that it was the present Terra, norted after they were separated. The game even mentions that when Xemnas and Ansem were defeated, it should have been Terra-Xehanort that came back, but instead it was Master Xehanort (which we know because he calls himself his most future/present form). So I guess the implication is that when they reformed as a whole person, Terra was separate, but Master Xehanort norted him again, only this time with just a fraction of his heart and not the whole thing like in BBS. It's poorly explained and mostly conjecture but makes sense to me.

I can upload as many renders as I can when I get home from work tonight, but I would like to know how you feel about this: Lady Junky uploaded the Dark Riku official render, but her attempt to remove the background leaves much to be desired (mainly because the color of Riku's hair matches the scan background). Would you say we should remove the backgrounds (may take some time), or would the backgrounds included be okay for now? :In general, they need to be checked so that they use text editor symbols, rather than MS Word symbols (ex. "'", which displays differently if you copied it from MSWord), they need to be in italics, and they need to have line returns where the original has line returns. Yes I know, it's a bit early to talk about them, the KHII section isn't even finished yet. But maybe you have an idea how to adapt the template for them. This is an extreme example from the Ultimania. Not every ship has two variants (Omega is the only ship that as a "C" variant) or sub variants (they just seem to affect the drops, maybe they are the "before/after rescue" equivalents, I don't know).   Unfortunately, Kryten, I don't find that your behavior has been very helpful in de-escalating the hostility regarding the KH3 navbox template. Although there are various instances where you were more civil towards the anonymous IP, there were also plenty instances where you failed to do so. Even though he/she is being stubborn, that of course doesn't mean you can be so.


Specifically, you falsely accused the IP of bad faith this week. However, I've reviewed the edits, and you did not revert all the IP's edits. That to me shows that their edits are not necessarily of bad faith, simply part of them are based in their own stubbornness. In fact, you re-added part of an edit you had reverted from this IP. False accusations of bad faith are, well, bad; one cannot assume the true intentions of an editor simply because they're insisting on their view point, even if it's against site policy and they know it. There's a significant difference between disagreeing with site policy and acting with malicious intent. As explained on Wikipedia regarding good faith, "editors should not attribute the actions being criticized to malice unless there is specific evidence of such." (Wikipedia:Assume Good Faith) So, this is your warning on the matter. Don't engage in disruptive or accusatory behavior with other users; it's easier to take action against disruptive users when you yourself are "clearly acting appropriately throughout."

Re:Wikia

I saw it in the Keyhole yesterday. I had always feared that there would be trouble because of the acquisition of fandom. Byzantinefire would have to know, because he had been active here. In the keyhole they should definitely insert a template during the upload with the summary, so like here. In the german Kingdom Hearts Wiki I add the link for files to KHWiki.com. I know that the cleaning of pictures is a hard work. I am not angry about you. :) Since Fandom killed the monobook skin, I'm a little annoyed about it.

At the moment I am still trying to find information for KHII for the german KH Wiki. Since our articles there have to be revised again. Since SQEX Germany had also made various translations of the names in the abilitys, it makes it difficult for me to compare the information here with the english name of the abilitys. It was hard for me to find the abilities for Re:Com with the german names and to compare them here with the english ones. But I finally finished that. Yes, this Fandom employee had undone it yesterday and if I change it again, I risk a block. They also ran a bot that also removed other links to here. Images that ShardofTruth created, have at least some meta-data, that contains that the images only for KHWiki.com is. Fandom is becoming more and more arrogant. They have also bought up the old domain name for our old independent KH Wikia. Fandom considers this wiki here as competition. Jimmy Wales and his staff are all about profits. If they overdo it or take over one-to-one articles from you, they would have to report it because of DMCA's violation via their special contact. The Experiment is an Heartless

Hi, sorry for bothering you here, but I see nobody see what I write in the discussion page of The Experiment (https://www.khwiki.com/Talk:The_Experiment), but I discovered another thing that proof he is a Heartless without any doubt. How already was sayed in the page, ingame in pause menu he is called Heartless and in the TCG he is classified as a Heartless, but there is another proof. If the Experiment is killed with Wisdom Form (that gain EXP ONLY if you kill Heartless), the WF gain EXP from The Experiment, I proved this with other bosses, I killed Xigbar with Final Form (since gain EXP killing Nobodies) and it gain EXP, and I tried too to kill the Hostile Program with WF thinking it was a Heartless, but the WF DON'T gain any EXP from the Hostile Program, but from The Experiment and other Heartless boss it does, so, this proof without any doubt he is a Heartless, otherwise the WF will not gain any EXP from him.--186.237.40.21 10:49, 3 August 2018 (UTC)

I'd like to confirm what you're claiming for myself, but I don't think we can say "without any doubt" -- there are other parts of the game that do not treat it as a Heartless, like the journal. It does fade away similar to a Pureblood Heartless, moreso than Scar did. The Journal just placed The Experiment in "character section" thing that already happen to others Heartless (Ansem), even Nobodies (all Organization, Naminé), Unversed (Vanitas Sentiment) and Dream Eaters (Riku and Anti Black Coat), so, be in Character section don't mean "he is not a Heartless/Nobody/Unversed/Dream Eater) and the game never say "he is not a Heartless", neither his creation method means nothing. Shadow Sora and AntiSora was created in a different way from others Heartless, but still they are considered Heartless, and all proofs say he is a Heartless. About the pseudo-Keyblade I never understand, we saw others objects that was used to became/summon the Keyblade (Struggle Bat in 1st and 4th day of Roxas in KH2 and Wooden Stick of Roxas in 6th day in KH2, and I doubt they are pseudo-Keyblade), and the Soul Eater was called Keyblade just in KH Mobile, and is not even canon that game, in any other official source it is never considered a Keyblade, in 358 is classified as a sword, and in none game anybody consider it a Keyblade.--186.237.40.21 18:40, 3 August 2018 (UTC)
The Soul Eater thing is referring to Mobile, the Soul Eater's demonstrated abilities compared to dialogue/reports in Days and BbS, and statements from Nomura. That is why I called it a pseudo-Keyblade.
The Journal clearly delineates the bulk of Heartless and Nobodies from the rest of the characters, and except for these very three in question, the only ones it leaves on the character lists are those that retained their human form and personality. I think Journal add to characters the H/N/U/DE that have a huge role in the story of at least 1 world. The Experiment is quite important in Halloween Town story in KH2 secon visit, so they considered it as a true character even if he is a Heartless. Recent edits

I strongly disagree with the removal of talk sprites in Galleries. They are official art designed for the game, ripped by fans, just like the Days talk sprites. It's a nonsensical double standard why Days talk sprites are allowed and not COM. If you use the argument "they're also used as someone's personal textbox", I don't see why it means we can not allow them on the Galleries. There are many instances where pics are on both mainspace articles and used on people talk pages, in their templates, etc. It does not have to be "one or the other" and there is no harm them in Galleries. I view it as overt pedanticism hurting the wiki and preventing official art from being archived and easily available.

If a character is exclusive to Union X, they should not be in the standard X category, or we're being dishonest. We should specify differences between X and Union X. Unfortunately, I haven't played either so I'm not entirely familiar with who's in which, but from my understanding, Lauriam and Brain are not in the original X.

Larxene slapping Naminé is also a perfect illustration of her "cold", "ruthless" and "uncaring" personality mentioned in the paragraph right beside it. Even if you disagree, you did not archive the pic in Larxene's gallery. Soroxas (talk) 14:27, 20 August 2018 (UTC)

Misspelled names

I don't know why you insist on having misspelled names near the beginning of their article since you never left an edit summary. Mistranslations and misspellings occur all the time in media, in some memo or subtitles or whatever. It makes the article look tacky, as if the developers of the series are incompetent. Depths of Darkness

Why do you consider the Depths of Darkness a "subworld" of Destiny Islands, instead of just another area in the Dark World, like Castle Town and the Forest of Thorns? Sure, it gets its own keyword that flashes, but so does Forest of Thorns:

At 1:33:20, you can see the player save in the Depths of Darkness, and the Dark World icon still appears in the top right and in the save point. Just to let you know thanks to the recent videos on Youtube, I was able to get access to the end credits of Kingdom Hearts III. Out of the returning characters aside from Master Xehanort, other new voice actors are also for Vexen's JP voice actor (due to the previous voice actor passing away in 2010), and new English voice actors for Hayner, Pence, and Olette. Just want to give you the info since the day of the International release of Kingdom Hearts III has arrived. On another matter, I updated the party member list due to watching the leaks on Youtube. Namely all the main characters that fight alongside Sora, excluding Terra will do this in certain boss fights and the player can also directly play as Riku and Aqua for certain situations. World infoboxes

I made a thread about this in the forums, but everyone's been ignoring it lol. Though to be completely fair, there's so much stuff going on at the moment that it's totally understandable that it flew under the radar. So I'm gonna bug you about it! I want to make a very minor change to the world infoboxes, so that they display the world logo by default rather than the world icon. Unfortunately, I honestly don't know how to do this or what it would take. I'm not suggesting any other changes. The reason why I'm insisting on this is because world logos is something that literally every world page has in common, while many lack official world icons. As a result when someone enters one of these pages, all they see on the infobox is a missing red link. Sure you can obviously click on the logo to pull it up, but again, it just looks better if it's already there when you enter it. That's the only change I want to make to the infoboxes, nothing else. The other thing I want to suggest is also to create some sort of default N/A (or just No Image) icon for worlds that don't have one. Destiny Islands from BBS comes to mind, as it's just a fuzzy white ball. Just something so we don't have dead image links populating the infoboxes. But that's secondary to my initial suggestion. Good Questions on your User Page

Hey Kryten. Been lurking the wiki following my completion of KHIII as a sadistic form of trying to recover from this series' post-partum depression. Finally decided to log in as I liked many of the questions you asked on your user page but did see a couple I think I might know answers to.

When you ask about Terra-Xehanort, Roxas, and Xion and why they don't have to return back to their own time, I guess it's my understanding that they aren't time traveling. Specifically with Roxas and Xion, we know that's the case. Xion is a new replica made by Vexen based on the old data from her original form. They don't say how they had that data so there's a plot hole there, but she's definitely from the present. I don't think she even identified as "Xion" until Sora says her name, at which point I assume that her heart left him and entered her new body, giving her form. With Roxas, he's the heart from within Sora and the replica body that Demyx sneaked out to Ansem the Wise and Ienzo. I guess when they completed the body for Roxas' heart and his heart resonated with Namine, that broke the space barrier and pushed the two together?

Terra-Xehanort is more tricky but I think that it was the present Terra, norted after they were separated. The game even mentions that when Xemnas and Ansem were defeated, it should have been Terra-Xehanort that came back, but instead it was Master Xehanort (which we know because he calls himself his most future/present form). So I guess the implication is that when they reformed as a whole person, Terra was separate, but Master Xehanort norted him again, only this time with just a fraction of his heart and not the whole thing like in BBS. It's poorly explained and mostly conjecture but makes sense to me.

Most of your other questions don't really have answers though. I think they are examples of Nomura deciding to do things 'just because' and hoping we'll forget about the contradictions. As has definitely happened before. Light Roxas 19:14, 12 February 2019 (UTC)

That's my opinion and you can continue arguing and making your own reasonings straight from your mouth but literally you need to chlll and stop making this as a nitpick.

Seriously didn't you forgot in BBS which is set 10 years before the first game that Sora, Kairi and Riku were 4 and 5 years old respectively or even Hercules was still a teenage before he became an adult? As Kryten said, there's almost no time between KH2 and KH3. Between BBS and KH1 is a 10-year gap. That's why events happening during those years can be put in a separate header. Since we don't have a clear time period for any of the events you mentioned, everything that happens during KH3 gets put under the KH3 header. An exception for this would be Jack's deal with Davy Jones, because that is confirmed to take place thirteen years before KH3.

The bistro was not there in KH2. Jack wasn't eaten in KH2. KH3 occurs almost immediately after KH2 closes -- there is not time for these events to have happened other than during the opening scenes of KH3/AFP.

Also while it's true "time flows differently" in worlds (more specifically the Disney worlds than the Original worlds like Twilight Town, Radiant Garden, and Destiny Islands), it doesn't mean that everyone ages differently between the different worlds. I mean think about it the FF characters that resided in Radiant Garden aged a year between KH and KH2 (Yuffie was 16 in KH and 17 during KH2. Ultimania Renders

A lot have been released online, albeit as low-quality scans. Would you say we can still use these in our articles? I'm concerned about the ones which would serve as a particular article's "main image." I can upload as many renders as I can when I get home from work tonight, but I would like to know how you feel about this: Lady Junky uploaded the Dark Riku official render, but her attempt to remove the background leaves much to be desired (mainly because the color of Riku's hair matches the scan background). Would you say we should remove the backgrounds (may take some time), or would the backgrounds included be okay for now? I just created a page for the VR Experience (since we didn't have one), but if I'm being honest....I have no idea what the hell I'm doing lol. >_< I can't get the tiny little icon to show up, nor can I find the main page portal template. The Game template is basically a display, while the Gameicon template actually houses the images. The portal is at Main_Page/Game_Portals. To track down where components of a page are, you want to look at Templates used on this page toward the bottom of a page while editing it."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." Retiring

I'm working with good faith here, but you're sapping my motivation to do anything on the site when you are constantly editing or reverting any contributions I make, often with minimal explanation. Statements like "Not relevant, removing spec" don't really leave me with any understanding of what is acceptable and what is not. Things like the United Galactic Federation are only briefly mentioned (I don't know if it's even mentioned in the story, or just journal entries), and since we don't take information from source material, there's pretty much no information to make a page for. I think we can write up at least some material on the UGF, considering what we're told in the Deep Space world, though I suppose the Grand Councilwoman naturally embodies the Federation and especially the council, so we could cover that all on her page.
