Mission 13 for Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days sends Roxas out again with Xion, this time to eliminate several enemies.

Mission Goal

Defeat all the Deserters.

Story Summary

Roxas and Xion go on another mission together. After they finish, Roxas tries to send Xion back so he can have his ice cream; however, Xion haltingly calls out his name before leaving. Roxas remembers his own naming ceremony as he eats and wonders if those are Xion's first words.

Mission Walkthrough

Before you head down to the Sandlot for the main part of the mission, you'll probably want to head to the north end of the Side Street when you arrive. There's a chest by the Station Heights entrance and a Bulky Vendor to take advantage of.

When you're ready, head down to the Sandlot. There, you'll see the Deserters, swarming like ants. Surpringly, they're fast and hard to catch, but once you hurt one, the rest will swarm you with attacks in revenge. Depending on your strategy, long-distance magic spells will probably come in handy. If you have good combat skills, you can probably take down each Deserter as they come to seek revenge for their fallen comrade. You will only start out with six present in the Sandlot, but more will appear as you defeat the first ones.

Once they are defeated, you will automatically RTC.

This one should be easy with a few levels and a decent weapon. Head straight for the Sandlot. Kill one, another will come to seek revenge, kill that one, and repeat the pattern as quickly as possible.
