Walkthrough:Kingdom Hearts/Deep Jungle

Sora took an interest in seeing the world and asks Goofy and Donald to land on it. But Donald refuses to land as he doesn't expect the King to be present in such a "backwater" location like so. Sora then interrupts Donald, forcing him to land, but causes the Gummi Ship to crash land into the world. Sora wakes up in what appears to be a treehouse... when he is suddenly attacked by a Saber-tooth Leopard.

Sabor appears from above the Treehouse and Sora is left alone to battle her. She hasn't got a wide arsenal to attack you with however

Tarzan appears and causes Sabor to flee, Sora asks Tarzan where his friends are, and he replies by telling him to go search for his friends and they both go out of the Treehouse and the logo appears. Donald and Goofy are in a whole other area of the world and Donald doesn't care about Sora and Template:WtexT appears out of nowhere surprising the two.

After the battle ends, a mysterious man will come down and save Sora from Sabor. He does not seem to speak much of Sora's language (English, in this case), and will occasionally mention one word. This man, Tarzan, will then join the party, but will disappear into the jungle upon joining (oddly, his HP spite is still visible).

Follow Tarzan into the jungle, where you'll soon find yourself doing a Tree Surfing mini-game. Your main goal is to reach the end of the slide without dying (Difficulty: ★☆☆☆☆). You'll then find yourself in a camping site. There's a Trinity Jump here, but you'll be unable to activate it as you lack Donald and Goofy in your party at this point. Go inside the Tent, where you'll be introduced to Jane, who's suprised that Sora can speak her language.

A hunter named Clayton will then enter the tent, along with Donald and Goofy. At first, both Sora and Donald are happy to see each other again, but they suddenly remember their fight and turn their backs on each other (much to Goofy's shock). It's also revealed that Goofy has found a gummi. Your mission now is to find six slides for Jane's slideshow. They can be found around the campsite. At this point, Goofy and a reluctent Donald will rejoin the party. Now you can activate the Trinity Jump in the Camp, as well as another one found in the Climbing Trees.

Collect the slides, and you'll see a texted cutscene involving several images (including one that causes Sora to get déjà vu). You must now go find a gorilla named Kerchak, who can be found in the vine area. After that, return to the Treehouse where Sora was attacked by Sabor, and you'll watch a cutscene where Clayton attempts to kill a young gorilla named Terk. Fortunetly, Donald was able to save her.

Jane is furious with Clayton, but the hunter tries to explain that there was a snake nearby, and that he saved Terk's life. Still, nobody beleaves him. Jane forbids Clayton from going near the gorillas, and the hunter exits the tent. He is now determaed to annihilate the gorillas, to the point where his darkness allows him to summon the Heartless.

Soon, you'll notice that the Heartless are now active and are attacking the gorillas. Save them, and then return to the tent, where you'll notice that Jane is gone. You'll soon find her in a deep part of the jungle with black flowers. Defeat the Heartless (they keep on re-spawing, so here's a good place to train), and open the flowers with spells (?). You'll soon find Jane and Terk in a safe place. Now head towards the area where Donald and Goofy were found by Clayton earlier, where you'll find Sabor. Defeat her, then head into the next area for a boss battle with Clayton.

A hunter who's determaned to annihilate the gorillas. His main weapon is his shotgun, which can deal a lot of damage if defence is low.

A Heartless created by Clayton to help him exterminate the gorillas. It can turn invisibe with will, so be careful.

After defeating Clayton, enter the waterfall tunnel nearby and get to the top (collecting the treasure along the way), and you'll soon find yourself in a tunnel with lots of butterfiles. Sora will then seal a hidden Keyhole, allowing a gummi piece to fall out of it. Sora and Donald will then forgive each other for their earlier argument, and the party will learn what Tarzan's mysterious word means = "Heart". Terk then falls in love with Donald, who says that if he takes her home, Daisy will kill him.

You'll then return to the Gummi Ship, where the trio decide to return to Traverse Town to show the gummi piece to Leon. Sora then says he wants to be pilot, but Donald does not allow him to, causing another argument.

If you want to get 100% in this game, you'll need to return to Deep Jungle to collect the remaining treasure (some of which require High Jump and Glide), as well as activate a Trinity Climb and a Trinity Detect.
