Image Notice

Photobucket is a site geared toward hosting images that lets you upload your images to your own account. Like the wiki, it requires little personal information to set up an account, but unlike the wiki, the images are your own (unlike on the wiki, where posting them means you give up all rights to claim ownership), and can only be viewed if you want them to be. Also, as photobucket is an image server, hosting the images there does not drain the wiki's own data space and bandwidth so much as would here.

Imageshack is a similar image server, with the added bonus of not requiring an account if you don't want one. While you can sign up for a personal account much like Photobucket, you can also upload an image as an anonymous user. Imageshack will store the image and give you the url and html embedding information for the image, allowing you to anonymously upload images to Imageshack and then post them elsewhere (like on the wiki), as an external link.

The primary advantages of using external servers are:

1. They allow you to retain ownership of your images - any images which remain here now belong to anyone who wants them.
2. They reduce the load on the wiki's own servers, making it faster and reducing the amount of overloads we get.
3. They allow you to use the image's on your own websites or on forums, instead of being restricted to wiki.

Only images that are important to the main articles (ie, images created by SE or Disney) should be uploaded to the wiki, as this allows them to load slightly quicker, making it easier to browse the wiki for information. Due to the large amount of textboxes used on the talk pages, images used as a textbox avatar (not as a userpage avatar) should also be uploaded, to reduce the load time on talk pages. However, the slightly slower load time for user pages with large fan art galleries is very much compensated for by the overall faster load time for the entire wiki if those images are externally hosted; thus, "user art" should be externally hosted.Glorious CHAOS! 22:09, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

I noticed you had created a page for Utada Hikaru. I did one for Quinton Flynn...I'll handle Voice Actors, should this be the way we do things...Should you see this, we should discuss it on the IRC sometime tonight or tomorrow... I just need the video fixed. Also, I think we should only cover Organziation XIII and the main Keyblade Wielders in terms of Voice actors, as well as the main Disney characters (ie. I actually think we should just work on fleshing these two out for now. Two is a good starting number for a demo, and if the proposal gets turned down then we've done a lot of work for nothing. kh2.co.uk would be a good source to search for relevant info, since wikipedia has hardly anything on KH info for the two. I might also try uploading the mp3's for the Utada tracks, though I'm not sure what the policy is on full songs - I have no capability for cutting them, though.Glorious CHAOS! 04:41, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

I was thinking that we could do the same thing for worlds on enemy articles. Under worlds we could just put small logos and line them up. Of course, we couldn't do this right away, because we'd need to be able to obtain one logo for every world, but I just wanted to show you an example to see what you think. It would probably look something like this:

Some text comes across the screen, so I wanted to see if it shows what the enemy is called. If it doesn't say, then how do you think we should handle this for now?

Help for the tab input

Unbirth and I were planning to use the same infobox tab idea over KHFR. Problem is, I've been desperate enough to copy most of the CSS/JS functions on the MediaWiki namespace, but the template still isn't working.

The template is at w:c:fr.kingdomhearts:Modèle:Sans-coeur - and the afterslashes (KH, COM etc) are the same.

Heartless Templates

I took one of the Wikimon templates and used it as an example. We probably shouldn't do it exactly like this, since it's so similar to Wikimon's, but we could do something very similar.

KrytenKoro - Click TALK - So the shared info at the top of each infobox would be its own tab? I've got to be honest, I have no idea how to code that. I think it could be done by having the infobox automatically tab, but for example, with Leechgrave, it's one Days appearance would create three tabs - a profile tab, a stats tab, and a Days stats tab within the stats tab. But how would you get more games' stats tabs within the Stats tab? Also, would the individual stats tabs have the picture or even the name of the enemy, or just the stat bit? If we did get this figured out (definitely not this week), it would incorporate the current infobox, the locations, and the journal bits, right? Leaving only "Story", "Strategy", and possibly "Etymology"?

Unused Panels?

And by some chance, I had brought my dice along! — 03:42, November 8, 2009 (UTC) Take a look at this sprite sheet: Sprite Sheet It seems to me that there are many panels in this image that don't actually appear in the game. For example... the "elemental" panels match to, as well as the weird ST UP2 and ST UP3 by them Row of panels under the LV UP, LV Doubler, LV Tripler, and LV Quadrupler The blue Dodge Roll in the near-top left corner of the yellow ability block The robot-looking panels that appear in the yellow ability block Most of the last two rows of the yellow ability block (P)-looking panel in the "other" block Panel with red Limit Break sign over dark background in the "other" block Are these panels that were left out of the final product, or are they actual in-game panels?

• The Blue Dodge Roll, Blue Aerial Recovery, Blue Sliding Dash, Blue Haste, Blue High Jump, Red Treasure Magnet isn't anything. Apparently just palette swaps.
• The first five equipments, the elemental, and the stat ups aren't anything, as far as I know.
• The red Limit Break over a dark background is the Limit Pass.
• Those spherical synthesis materials I don't know.
• There's a "D" Glide that isn't anything. The Glide panels should have a red H, a blue +1, and a yellow R. The Air Slide's should have a blue +1 and a yellow R. The black Block should be an R, the white Block should be a P, the purple Block should be a J, the orange Block should be an O. So, we're missing quite a few.
• The robots, sparkles, bird and ! aren't anything. I feel like the $ is used on the rewards menu for obtained munny, but I'm not at all sure.
• I feel like the "P" should be something, but I'm not at all sure.

I've not heard of any panels removed during dubbing, so it seems like these were removed before release. The elemental ones look awesome, though, could we get them uploaded anyway?Glorious CHAOS! 04:16, November 8, 2009 (UTC)

I thought they were the icons for the elemental rings that provide 100% resistance to its corresponding element. Thank you for getting those all, that's a huge help! However, why did you remove some of the images from Panel System? I checked every image with the guide, they were all correct.

TALK - Then, um, don't trust your guide, because I checked just by looking at my game, and those are definitely not right. As I said earlier, a lot of the panels on that page have the wrong letters.

As long as either myself or the site http://heartstation.org are referenced, I have no problems with it. It is probbaly best to mention which information is novel, though, because many people don't consider them canon... when I get some time, I can go through the wiki, as well. I have noticed some mis-interpretations a while ago, but I didn't really do anything. I'd be happy to help. I'm extremely busy at the moment, but next week should be much better for me...

"Last Minute to the Castle Oblivion" hasn't got any Japanese; it's written in English in the book. So even though it sounds weird, I left it like it is. You're probably right about it, though.

I saw you took out the section of Larxene's page about the novels. I tried to improve it once, so this time I'm going recommand someone with good explaination details. I would recommand Sir DTN, Sit GS, Lady TNE, or Mister JudgementDaay95/ I saw the edits he made on Axel's page and they were pretty good. I think we should to the novels one as well.

Um... I'm confused. Who was it that posted this message on my KHI profile?

I just found out that you are responsible for the novel translations, and I would like to ask permission for us to summarize them at the kingdom hearts wiki. From our Manual of style, I don't think we'd directly source the translations on the character articles, but we would provide links to your translations on our article about the novels themselves. If we misinterpret the novel in summarizing it, it would be very appreciated for you to correct us, as well.

Also, I can't be sure because I don't have access to the Japanese itself, but I believe the title for "Last Minute to the Castle Oblivion" might be intended to be "Previous Minutes at Castle Oblivion", using "Minutes" as in a record of what is said at a meeting. Again, not sure at all since I'm just looking at your translated version.

If possible, please respond to me at the wiki or in an e-mail, since I'm not sure I would come back here soon.

• "File:Xehanort Portrait.jpg" is a slight copy of "File:Xehanort.png", with a picture frame. Please determine whether one of these would be used.
• "File:Tamer.jpg", "File:Lance Warrior.jpg", "File:Hookbat.jpg", "File:Follow the wind-BBS.jpg", "File:Iron Hammer.jpg", "File:Hunter.jpg", "File:205-Merlin's House.jpg" and "File:Dtdscreen.gif" are missing their licensing info. I will restore these for licensing, without which they will be deleted again.e
• "File:Keyblade of Terra.jpg" had its copyright info missing and was not used in any articles. I will restore this IF there is assurance that the licensing is corrected AND the image is used.
• "File:ShockedDaysRoxas.png" ‎was appended with the delete template. I'll only restore this on uploader request.
• "File:SadDaysRoxas.png" ‎was appended with the delete template. I'll only restore this on uploader request.
• "File:StopDaysRoxas.png ‎was appended with the delete template. I'll only restore this on uploader request.
• "File:Rikuarchives.png" uses a fair-use image and was not properly licensed. I'll only restore them on uploader/user request when he/she will comply on the licensing requirement.
• "File:KH-Rikku projectScrapped.jpg" is a duplicate of File:Kingdomhearts-rikku-concept-art.jpg, which is currently used in the Gullwings article.
• "File:Userbox passion.png" was appended with the delete template with the reason given by Troisnyxetienne that "a higher-res image is already in use".
• "File:IValorForm.jpg" was appended with the delete template with the reason given by Troisnyxetienne that "the PNG version of this file is now in use."

The images in question should be provided with suitable copyright templates, and information on the source of these images is optional but encouraged. 358/2 Days Weapon Stats

I started changing the pages so they had tabs for the various + or ++ weapons and I'm looking at the guide and someone put in the wrong info or didn't even finish it. Whoever it was, subtracted the stats that the Kingdom Key has; see Rejection of Fate for an example. I went to look at the Oathkeeper\Oblivion page since that was the one I know you really worked on and I saw that you didn't subtract the stats from Kingdom Key. I have started to fix these or just finish the pages that someone started. I saw that you put a percentage in the Rate unit box and was wondering if there should be one in the Rate base box.

I am really sorry about the delay on that. Last semester was brutal. I just realized something after going through all of Roxas/Xion's, Xemnas', Xigbar's and Xaldin's weapons. Should I get rid of the Category:Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days weapons? If I remember correctly, all gameplay categories are automatic, obviously excluding those for pages that don't have infoboxes yet. So, yes, please remove the categories on those pages.Glorious CHAOS! 21:08, January 22, 2010 (UTC)

If you read carefully in the faq the part about Destiny Island, Traverse Town, and etc is esxactly what the coded youtube video are excatly the same so whoever wrote the faq must have played it herself. For your information I saw all the video and they are basicly the same as the faq except some misspelled word. So you need a video to confirm it? What if the video is excalty what the faq said? Unversed Edits

I noticed you edited the page I was talking about, that you claimed to not know about. Am I not supposed to use those names? They are official names for the Unversed. And they came from the link I showed you. I apologize if I did something wrong, but I just wanted to contribute information that I found from the Japanese wiki. Just wanted to put info out there, because this is a wikia designed for Kingdom Hearts related information.

I "claimed" to not know about any pages for individual Unversed, which we still don't have. If you are reffering to Unnamed Enemies, the bbs wikiwiki doesn't seem to be working, so it can't be used as a source yet. Come on before coded release any episode you guys already mentioned the preinstalled and the date. Beside the game coded is out first, Days second, and BBS third. The game really is released in November 8, 2008. I found more info about the Rock Splendor keyblade, not sure where its obtained, etc. Here's the link; foward to 3:15 to see the Keyblade. Sora's Heartless

Since Sora's Heartless is a character in coded should he be added in the party template as a playable character? Honest, I'm against the idea because he was just a form Sora took in KH1 and didn't become a character until coded where he is a separate entity from Sora, anyway just wanted to hear your opinion.Masgrande 22:48, January 25, 2010 (UTC)

He is a character in KHI like Xehanort's Heartless. I mean we all know that Lingering Sentiment is Terra but with his soul but they are still diffrent. Beside at that time in KHI when Sora created and become Sora's Heartless he was falling into darkness and Sora's Heartless took control until Kairi bring Sora back. Sora even commented to Kairi that when he falls into darkness he lost feeling, forget everything and etc. So this proves Sora's Heartless took control when Sora falls into darkness. I'm not sure if your collecting stats or not for the BBS Keyblades; if you aren't, then ignore this message. However, if you are, heres some of the stats I found from the last episode with Aqua: Main Link @ 1:08- Unknown @ 1:14- Bright Crest (4/7) @ 1:22- Pixie Charm (3/6) @ 1:22- Hyperdrive (4/3) @ 1:24- Mark of Hero (5/1) @ 1:25- Rainfall (2/2) Note: There were extra keyblades on the video, but they scrolled by too fast (even between pauses) to see the info.
