Synopsis

In the Underworld, Hades summons Auron from the undead. He proposes a short contract with Auron, stating that if Auron faces Hercules in a battle to the death, he will be released from the Underworld.

Back at Olympus Coliseum, Pain and Panic inform Hercules of Meg's disappearance. Enraged, Hercules attacks the two minions, stopping only when they reveal her whereabouts. Hercules immediately leaves, with Sora, Donald, and Goofy in pursuit. As they leave, Phil gives the trio the Olympus Stone, claiming that its powers will protect their life energy while they are in the Underworld. Phil stays behind, determined to learn more of Hades's plot.

As the trio delve deeper into the Underworld, they discover Demyx lying on the ground. Despite his ties with Organization XIII, Sora gives him the Olympus Stone. After being healed, Demyx profusely thanks the group, repeatedly calling Sora "Roxas," despite Sora's confused disapproval. Demyx suddenly attacks the group, easily overcoming Sora's weakened state. As quickly as Demyx attacked the group, he stops, returning the Olympus Stone to Sora. As he leaves, Demyx asks "Roxas" to return to the Organization. Although confused, the group continues their journey.

Eventually the trio catches up with Hercules. Hercules sits before a stone, claiming Meg has been sealed into it. Sora uses the Keyblade to release the seal, only to discover that it was a trick set up by Hades in order to open the Underdrome. As Hades celebrates the return of the Underdrome, he announces the beginning of a new tournament: the Hades cup. For this tournament, the victor will be granted freedom from the Underworld, and the chance to battle Hercules. Hades reveals that should Hercules refuse to participate he will dispose of Meg. An enraged Hercules goes after Hades, with Sora in tow.
