Can't you get a more comprehensible name ?

I know most of you would end up calling me trois because it's just too cumbersome to go with the whole sequence of Troissdjisjvejjddhifragh. Fine. I understand. It leaves everyone tongue-tied, shall we say ?

Well, actually, it's a combination of trois + nyx + etienne. Trois is French for three, Nyx is a girl's name, and it's something gotta do with night (or, in other words, darkness), and Etienne is the French equivalent of Stephen (I do look up to St Stephen the martyr). Coined this username in my mid-teens and I guess I'll never give it up for the rest of my life - because the darkness still hasn't passed me by. It's still...... here.

If you see troisnyxetienne or its shortened forms, 3NyxEtienne or troisnyx* anywhere on the Net (or even in real life, for that matter), yes, you know that's me.

Why of all games, Kingdom Hearts ?

I was practically bored of all the junk my cousin got me in 2002. Then in late 2002 he gave me something which caught my eye - Kingdom Hearts. The very fact that it was from Disney (and Squaresoft) compelled me to play. And it was more than love at first sight : it has now become an addiction. I've assembled practically every single Kingdom Hearts game available in shelves (except for Re : Chain of Memories in English, which isn't available in Malaysia yet which I'm yet to buy during the coming holidays).

Then Sora came into the picture.

Sora is one character I can identify with - heroic (well, I'm not), emotional, somewhat immature, unintentionally shows disrespect towards people of position, but is ever willing to go all out for his friends. He's been in my spotlight from the very first time I laid my hands on a Kingdom Hearts game disc. They say we're losers if we base our personalities on anime/video game characters, and I suppose I'm not far from being one...... ^^

The next most frequent question people ask me is this : "For crying out loud, you're seventeen eighteen. Why don't you play something M-rated ?" To answer that question, I'd rather a civilised, almost light-hearted game which touches on emotions, rather than a cold-blooded, gory game with suggestive themes that'll lead me to greater sin. Kingdom Hearts can be dissected and well reviewed for its themes, and that's why even after I've gone past the ESRB Teen and Mature ratings, Kingdom Hearts still remains my #1 game.

And just so you'd know, in my userboxes section, Completed games does NOT mean completed 100%. The only game which I've managed to complete 100% thus far is the English version of Kingdom Hearts.

Okay, I know this sounds irritating, but why is it that you are so into contributing to theories ? Enough of them already !

Simple. Firstly, it's nice to speculate. Secondly, it's even nicer to find evidence. It makes me remember in-game theories, you see ?

When I was writing the part about Terra's, Aqua's and Ven's origins in their respective talk pages, I did it with a lot of enthusiasm. Of course, because I had to be in the know of what I wrote, I made a lot of references to Xehanort's and Ansem's reports. By contributing to theories, not only will I be in touch with the fun (and the speculation) of Birth By Sleep, I also won't lose touch with the game !

I'm introverted, and I spend quite a lot of time alone (by saying a lot, I mean a lot), either in deep reflection, or thinking about new ideas for lots of artsy stuff. I love the arts, and you could compare me to Demyx in a way. I'm a real-life Bard and Blue Mage - in the sense that I love playing music and singing, and I have a tendency of remembering other people's study tactics/quotes/arguments and using these things against them. (No, I'm not Zexion, I'm going to be a lawyer, and I somehow feel Zexion could make a great lawyer... don't you think ?) And whatever I do, I want to use it in my role of making peace with everyone.

I can be compassionate, but at the same time I'm the kind of person you wouldn't want to mess with. I know my facts and I do my homework, which makes me a connoisseur when it comes to the game. I have a quick and sharp tongue, which could either be my strength or my weakness - but more often than not, it's my strength, so you've been warned. (What the hell, I'm gonna be a lawyer, after all !)

And if I've made any gaffes during my course of editing on this Wiki, I'm truly sorry and I owe you big time.

To date, I've been making several edits, and to kill time, I've been sketching and doing role-play for this KH-based role-playing game, Kingdom Hearts Legacy - you may either join as a canon character or turn yourself into a character. Also, let me make it clear that as moderator, I will not - and I mean I WILL NOT - tolerate vandals. If there happens to be any vandal I've missed over the course of my editing over here, I need help from any one of you to get him out. If I find any, I'll snuff them out myself. And if any vandals are daring enough to cry havoc on my talk page, I'll snuff them out too. Note also that you can't buy your way in with me (unless it concerns the francophone Kingdom Hearts Wiki), as I'm not the kind of person to take bribes.
