Tranquil (安らぎ Yasuragi) is a rare synthesis material found in Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+. Much like Mystery Goo from Kingdom Hearts, they can only be obtained from mushroom-type Heartless; in this case, the mushrooms are the Organization XIII Mushrooms. Because they only drop from the Mushrooms, they are also known in some translations as the Mushroom materials.
All four types of material, Shard, Stone, Gem, and Crystal, do exist. Unlike the other material types, no specific Organization XIII Mushroom drops a specific type of Tranquil material; in other words, they all have a chance of dropping one or more kinds.
Tranquil materials are used to make a few items, most notably Serenity Crystals, and the Shock Charm armor and Full Bloom accessory that serve as artifacts of Larxene and Marluxia, respectively.
