Scan (ライブラ Raibura, lit. "Libra") is an ability introduced in Kingdom Hearts. It allows the player to view a targeted enemy's HP.
Mechanics
In Kingdom Hearts, Scan is a support ability that costs 1 AP to equip.
In Kingdom Hearts II, Scan is a support ability that costs 2 AP to equip.
In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Scan is an ability panel.
In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Scan is a support ability that can be equipped once.
In Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Scan is a Bonus Booster ability. Unlike other Bonus Booster abilities, Scan cannot be toggled off and on once activated. It is also used to detect the backdoors that lead to System Sectors. Scan can be leveled up from Scan Lv.1 to Scan Lv.2, Scan Lv.3 and Scan Lv.4. With each upgrade of the ability, Scan's backdoor sensor becomes more powerful, indicated by the starting color of the sensor changing from blue to light blue, green, and yellow, and previously inaccessible backdoors are revealed.
In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Scan is a support ability that can be equipped once.
In Kingdom Hearts III, Scan is a support ability that costs 1 AP to equip.
