In Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, Dark Break is an attack sleight that Riku can access while in Dark Mode. In Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, attacks are added by pressing Triangle when prompted, while pressing Triangle at the wrong time cancels the sleight.

In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Dark Break is an attack command that can be used exclusively by Riku. It allows him to leap into the air and strike enemies from above three times before creating a shockwave upon landing. The command takes up one slot in the Command Deck, and it has a reload time of 22 seconds. It grants +2 to Strength and +10 to Dark Resistance when attached to a Dream Eater recipe.
