TALK - Scherzo Di Notte ~ 22:20, 13 October 2012 (UTC)
So, with the mini-roundtable had taken place prior to this posting, we're going to take a vote on which End of Year event the community of the KHWiki would prefer to have. A Pokémon Tournament or a KH-series tournament?

The Pokémon Tournament would include the Pokémon fans of the KHWiki only, while the KH-series tournament would pretty much include all users of the KH Wiki allowing for the majority to join in. Using this forum, we can see that many people have at least one copy of a KH game.

So underneath, vote for which you would want to happen as the End of Year event

Vote Discussion[edit]

Just so you guys know, we aren't voting for a KH-series tournament that will be discussed. It's a set idea that was explained during the mini-roundtable. The idea is a set of goals (divided into two categories, main and passive, as in main being completed the story of KHX and passive being reached level 99/100. Using Crowns to denote Main and Sigils denoting Passive. This can go in either teams or individual members, that forum will come soon after this. Erry 20:30, 14 October 2012 (UTC)

On the other hand, other ideas are nice... Erry 23:16, 16 October 2012 (UTC)

Event Discussion[edit]

Okay, so with the vote closed, we have to choose an event to hold from the following, however suggestions or events from editors are welcome:

  • Kingdom Hearts Game Tournament Erry 11:50, 17 October 2012 (UTC)
    • Play in teams of 4, 3 or 2, or individually, playing from all to whichever combination of games in the Kingdom Hearts series completing a series of goals. The winning team gets a plaque for their userpage.

Can't there be plaques for participating too? Winning could just get a diferent, WINNER, plaque. AndteamscauseI'museless alone HikariKH - The most creative signature writer ever! 11:04, 18 October 2012 (UTC)

Well, I only said winning team as an example. It'd probably go with the color scheme of the crowns in KHIIFM, Gold for winner, Silver for runner up and Bronze for the rest. Erry 16:43, 18 October 2012 (UTC)

So we're playing individually and reporting results? SubZeroFlames18:21, 19 October 2012 (UTC)

Notice[edit]

So as was planned that the time for other ideas that involve the KH-series has ended and so we're going to go with the original tournament. However this time we just need input on what the teams will be in (3's, 2's, etc.) and what games you wish to play (I'm not sure people would enjoy playing ALL the games, just a selection).

If we did it as teams of 2 or 3, I think having to complete a total 4 games as a team would be good, as that would leave 1 or 2 games per person. If we wanted to be flexible, we could even allow the teams to choose any 4 games, but the problem there is that the length does not always compare equally. I would propose we choose KH and KHII for certain, and then also possibly do 3D and BBS. If we make sure each team has at least one person with each of those games, we should be fine. I think that we need a sign up list now since we need to know how many people are competing to divide them into teams. So after we work out how many people there'll be in each team, we can choose the games. TheFifteenthMember 10:11, 21 October 2012 (UTC)
Okay. I'm creating that forum now. EDIT: Here is the page. Erry 14:55, 21 October 2012 (UTC)
Considering its been about a week now and only one person signed up, I think we should ask The Keyhole if they want to join in. TheFifteenthMember 11:29, 30 October 2012 (UTC)

Okay, so if we aren't going to do this with the Keyhole, we should get things prepared. I think we should start the event early in November (maybe sometime late next week) to have plenty of time for the game. So far we have 7 people signed up. We can't divide 7 people into any teams so hopefully another person will join to make 8. We could do two things with 8 people: we can split them into pairs or have two groups of 4. If in pairs, I think we should do the main games - KH and KHII. If in 4s, I think we should do KH, RE:COM, KHII and BBS since they are most story important to the series so far (my opinion). I think we should avoid DDD because its likely that most people have played it recently anyway so people wouldn't want to play it again. If no one else joins then the only thing we could do is have people play individually. --TheFifteenthMember 12:03, 4 November 2012 (UTC)

If ya want, I can ask if any other Keyhole people want to participate, get two or three more people to sign up :PSubZeroFlames
