STRATEGY: If you've been saving up licenses, now's the time to use them. It would be helpful to have a Command Matrix full of restorative commands as they'll be helpful against Cloud's devastating attacks. Also, compiled commands are generally inferior to regular combos in this case, as a three-hit combo in addition to a possible special attack is stronger than a one hit attack. His "Omnislash" is particularly dangerous as it is both strong and quick, making it hard to block against. Unless you're confident you can react quickly, you may want to use an "Auto-Block License" to guard for you. To damage him, simply keep on combo attacking and using commands if they are available.

Following your success at Wonderland, you find your way to Olympus Coliseum, an arena where all the top heroes compete in battles. After Data-Sora and Mickey talk to each other, you begin Outside the Coliseum and you can now replay and revisit earlier worlds from a save point. The opening area is fairly empty and devoid of any treasure so you can go straight through the north door to enter the Vestibule.

Save your game before talking to the strange goat, Philoctetes in the centre of the room. As it turns out, the Coliseum is infested with bugs and the champion, Hercules, is missing after he tried to sort them out. Data-Sora quickly discovers the world's Keyhole and enters it to reach the Labyrinth. The gameplay has drastically changed to have turn-based combat but the game explains all of these new mechanics through shreds of wisdom.

You start at Layer 01, the first level. Go to the westwards room and pick up the scrap of paper that teaches you about battles and how to fight. A Shadow then attacks you so you can try out the new combat system then. After the battle, break through the wall of blocks north to get to the next room, which has a scrap of paper teaching you about the bug level. Basically, your aim is to reduce the gauge in the top-left corner below the white line and you do this by destroying Bug Blox and Heartless. Once you've demolished the wall, continue on to the next room, where you'll learn about combos and blocking. Although it can be tricky at first, you'll get used to having timely reactions in order to do combo attacks and block damage. If you proceed onto the next room, a cutscene involving Hades will play. Once it's over, read another scrap of wisdom and then reduce the bug level in the next room to level 1, revealing a Rare Prize Block that contains a Strength +1 and allowing entry to the room southward, which contains a Magic +1. Afterwards, go upwards to the large room in the north and midway, a cutscene involving Hercules will play. After a scrap of paper about layers, you are free to explore this highly bugged room. Reduce the bugs to level 1, break the Rare Prize Blox containing a HP +2 and then break a block to the far west to uncover the layer's exit point. Between this and the next layer, you'll have time in a Save Room where you can save the game and trade with the Moogle.

At the start of Layer 02, a quick cutscene will play and then you'll have to traverse a new section of the Labyrinth. Some pathways are blocked so go up the north path to the north-east room, where you'll learn about Licenses. Then, go to the southward room however you'll find it blocked. Return to the room you started in to meet up with Hercules, who can break down walls, and after he joins your party. A horde of Heartless attack so you can practise team combat. Now that you can break walls, go through to the south-east room, where a Lucky Strike is immediately available. Then, continue to the south-west room and destroy bugs and blocks to uncover the exit point. However before you leave, go to the large room to the east, take down the bugs, and then grab the Defense +1 chip. The Moogle in the next Save Room offers you a range of new types of licenses.

Layer 03 begins with a cutscene where Hades and Cloud discuss plans with each other. Then, you start in a large room with new "menaces" that follow you from room to room. First, go to the south-east room to grab a Thunder +1 chip. Next, go to the northern room and jump up to the higher ground. Reduce the bug level there to level 1 to reveal a Rare Prize Blox containing a Aero +1 chip. Afterwards, go to the last section of the room to the east, where your party will encounter Cloud in a fight.

MINIBOSS TEMPLATE: Cloud STRATEGY: If you've been saving up licenses, now's the time to use them.

After you defeat him a cutscene will play, revealing that Hades tricked Cloud into attacking Hercules. Soon enough, Cloud and Hades leave the scene and go separate ways, returning control to you. A block in the last section covers the exit so destroy it and be on your way to the Save Room.

Layer 04 starts with a short cutscene. First, go to the south-east room and reduce the bug level to reveal an Air Spiral. Then go to the northern room and then turn west into the room in the centre of the layer. Reduce the bug level to find a Cure +1 chip. If you go to the north-west room, you'll see Cloud surrounded by Heartless. He stubbornly refuses to accept help so he lures the Heartless to another room away from you. You can leave him and continue onwards however it is more beneficial to help him out. To aid him, go to the south-west room to find him again and battle the Heartless with him and by the end, he'll join your party. Now, return to the central room and exit the layer through the large door to the north. Make use of this Save Room as it is your last before the world's boss.

Layer 05 has no treasure so simply run straight to the end of the area, where Cerberus, a source of the world's bugs, attacks.

BOSS TEMPLATE: Cerberus STRATEGY: Attacking through compiled commands is weaker than combos so only have restorative commands. Use whatever licenses you have and just keep combo attacking against him. Do not use all of your Cures and licenses however, as Cerberus isn't the final boss of the world.

Unfortunately, Hades comes instantly afterwards and attacks the party.

BOSS TEMPLATE: Hades STRATEGY: Here's the time to go all out; use all of your licenses and heal whenever you need to. Like before, simply keep using combos against Hades. He often summons Shadows, however this isn't overly worrying as they are more a nuisance than a threat. PRIZE: Olympia

Afterwards, the party returns to Philoctetes and the world is complete. You are then taken to the next world, Agrabah.

Episode Replay=

After completing the first five layers for the first time, you are given the ability to replay the world with fifteen layers.
