Balloon spells summon a number of balloons that home in on enemies and burst to deal damage.

Balloon (バルーン Barūn?), Balloonra (バルーンラ Barūnra?), and Balloonga (バルーンガ Barūnga?) are a series of magic that appears in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. They allow the user to summon balloons that burst on impact with enemies, stunning them and dealing neutral damage.

Mechanics

Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance

  • Balloon is a magic command that summons a ring of balloons that burst on contact, bouncing enemies into the air. The balloons have a 50% chance of stunning foes. Balloon takes up one slot in the Command Deck and has a reload time of 12 seconds. It grants +1 to Magic and +10 to Water Resistance when attached to a Dream Eater recipe.
  • Balloonra is a magic command that summons a cluster of balloons that user scatters across the field toward enemies. The balloons have a 50% chance of stunning foes. Balloonra takes up one slot in the Command Deck and has a reload time of 18 seconds. It grants +2 to Magic and +20 to Water Resistance when attached to a Dream Eater recipe.
  • Balloonga is a magic command that summons a huge balloon that bursts on contact, releasing more balloons for additional damage. The large balloon has a 100% chance of stunning foes, while the smaller balloons have a 50% chance. Balloonga takes up one slot in the Command Deck and has a reload time of 26 seconds. It grants +3 to Magic and +30 to Water Resistance when attached to a Dream Eater recipe.

  • Sora or Riku can obtain Balloonra as the A-rank reward for the Dive to Prankster's Paradise.
  • Sora and Riku can purchase Balloon from the Moogle Shop for 240 munny during Bargain Flurry.
  • Sora and Riku can purchase Balloonra from the Moogle Shop for 720 munny during Bargain Flurry after reaching Shop Level 5.
  • Sora and Riku can purchase Balloonga at the Medal Shop for 1200 Medals after reaching Shop Level 5.
