Should it be mentioned that through the use of codes, it's possible to use it in normal battle?--Erry 02:06, October 25, 2010 (UTC)

I don't think so. The dual-wielding cheat is not mentioned on the Struggle Bats page. If anything, it's just a trivial fact. [[ Soxra ]] 02:11, October 25, 2010 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure our rule of thumb is "If it has to be hacked, it's not worth mentioning." KKDf51ce887-d120-4b89-8cff-afbff03976aa_zps7f114bcc.png
Not necessarily. Where Nothing Gathers [[ Soxra ]] 02:28, October 25, 2010 (UTC)
EDIT: I see what you're saying though. The D-Link cheat code is a gameplay aspect that's hacked VS a part of the world that was just never shown. And I agree. [[ Soxra ]] 02:32, October 25, 2010 (UTC)
I think using Vanitas as a regular D-Link would be so epic, the PSP would explode and melt your brain. As you died painfully, you would hear Vanitas in your head calling you an idiot forever. So, yeah, epic. XD --Ag (Silver) - 47 107.8682 amu ~Crono Vsymbol1.png 02:38, October 25, 2010 (UTC)
We include "hacked" information when it is simply an object already within the game that was removed from the final release - like Louie's world, the Days talk-pics, or the Crumbling Island. However, simply transposing variables to allow you to use an ability when you shouldn't be able to doesn't fall under this, so it should be ignored.(ಠ_ೃ) Bully! 13:36, October 25, 2010 (UTC)

Last Word[edit]

I know it's probably not, but would it be worth mentioning that it is possible to miss with Last Word? I think so, but I want a second opinion before I add it.

It is possible, I think I've seen it happen once or twice. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 16:57, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

I know it's possible. I was wondering if it's worth mentioning.

Ah. Well, the section needs to be rephrased, since it's not automatically "surrounding the enemy". So, yes and no. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 20:43, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

Clashing[edit]

The descriptions for the commands should describe the "clashes", i.e., what you need to input to win each one. As a side point, is it possible to clash with Dark Splicer? I can only remember seeing clashes with Dark Spiral and Dark Link. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 01:32, October 29, 2010 (UTC)

No, it is not, the only uses I've discovered for Dark Splicer is looking cool and refilling focus.
Actually, it is, but it works a little differently. You actually have it pictured in the article--ordinarily, the command functions much the same as Time Splicer. It only causes the slow/blur effect when Vanitas is also attacking with it, & if you hit the buttons correctly, you will evade his attacks & slash him away. Again, you can see this in the image the article uses. This is also the only condition under which the command will cause the Command Guage to fill. For some reason, Vanitas does not use it as often as Dark Splicer & Dark Cannon.75.206.104.221 05:03, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

Dark Link[edit]

Couldn't help but take notice that the Dark Link image is of a clash against Vanitas' Dark Spiral, not Dark Cannon. Would it be possible to get this replaced? Draconai (talk) 22:47, 4 January 2015 (UTC)

The image is used in response to the final sentence of the section: "When clashing with Vanitas while using Dark Link, the player can win the clash by rapidly tapping x." Actually, after looking at the section and the .gif again, the image we are currently using fits the description. The key word is what button is pressed. For Dark Link, it is "x" for Dark Spiral it is the analog stick. Xion4ever 22:55, 4 January 2015 (UTC)

Dark Spiral & Dark Splicer[edit]

All other unique D-Link commands are Friendship commands, but we can't actually go into the menu, see Vanitas' commands and know for sure. Can we consider them Friendship commands anyway? TheFifteenthMember 19:56, 2 February 2016 (UTC)

Seems legit, but does anyone have the ability to hack the game and check?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 19:58, 2 February 2016 (UTC)
I think it's not intended to get Vanitas' D-Link appear in the D-Link menu, at least it doesn't appear even when you make it available for Ventus outside of the final battle with a cheat. But still, what else could these commands be? They don't have a magic/sword/item symbol in the command list so they have to be friendship commands. --ShardofTruth 23:26, 2 February 2016 (UTC)
Seems legit, but maybe have a hidden comment that we're not 100% certain?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 01:51, 3 February 2016 (UTC)
