Flame Torrent, also called Flame Salvo, is a technique introduced in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. It allows the user to scorch enemies with a torrent of flames.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Flame Salvo is a Shotlock that has a maximum level of 4 and max lock of 15. After the initial volley, the player can perform extra attacks by pressing rapidly to fire additional fireballs each time is pressed.

In Kingdom Hearts III, Flame Torrent is an action ability exclusive to the Frying Pan Formchange. It activates after Sora partially charges Frying Pan with the Shield Charge ability, signified by the shield glowing white. The damage delivered by Flame Torrent can be boosted with Reprisal Boost.

• Ventus has Flame Salvo as his default Shotlock.
