Eliskuya2: Hate lists?

And by some chance, I had brought my dice along! — 03:56, November 1, 2009 (UTC) So, Troisnyxetienne and I were having on a conversation, and she told me a little bit about the actions of Eliskuya2. She mentioned something about a hate list, which also reminds me of previous users creating hate lists. I was wondering, at what point can the line be drawn for hate lists, or suggesting that a user dislikes/hates/cannot stand toward another user(s), be fair for a warning? I noticed that many case have just been passed by, mostly in underlined hints at not liking other users in user talk pages.

TALK - Here's your cat...and here's your $20...04:44, November 1, 2009 (UTC) It's one thing to say that someone doesn't get along with or agree with another editor and is frustrated with them on a page or project; as long as it's phrased in a reasonable or non-threatening manner, that's fine. We can't expect everyone to see eye to eye, and as long as people work out their issues in a mature manner or put the issue aside to continue wiki work as usual, I'm not going to get myself involved. My guidelines for issuing warnings are: When someone actively seeks out controversy, such as making a "hate list". The person's words are chosen to provoke the target and/or start an issue that affects or draws in others. If someone says they're frustrated with another user and leave it there, that's fine. If someone uses abusive language or makes accusations essentially to provoke a response from their target or other users, that's not okay and it needs a warning. If someone makes threats of violence (unless they are obviously in jest), that absolutely calls for a warning. If you see something from the abusive or threatening category going on, please let a sysop know in addition to issuing a warning. We can't monitor everyone's talk pages since they remain extremely active, and so it would be easy for us to miss something. And if someone has issued a warning and the person is responding back as belligerently as before, don't respond! Don't say things like, "Stop arguing" or "You are so banned!" or "When BebopKate/GS/Hecko gets here you are going to be in trouble..." Don't say anything! Don't give them a reason to respond! A lot of our more recent issues caused by banned visitors have been caused by wiki editors trying to get the last word in. Instead, just one editor needs to let the sysops know of the problem on our talk pages and one of us will handle the issue when we get on. And now...on to less serious discussion topics, I hope.

Confusion

Alright im confused about this and since Troisnyxetienne is taking a three week hiatus or possibly leaving all together i have to talk to you. As i made my walktroughs trough normal articles Troisnyxetienne put them in my userspace and nominated the empty pages for deletion. Now you removed those which lead me here so i could ask you how i acces my userspace cause i cant find my introduction page or part 1 of the walktrough. Its a big mess of....things. Days Missions

Just wondering what we're supposed to do for the Missions that have multiple Challenges. If we include a little "strategy" thing, like we seem to do, it looks a tad cruddy. Also wish to remind you to make sure all Mission pages have the following : Any time "Day" or the plural is used, it is capitolized. Any time "Mission" or the plural is used, it is capitolized. All Badges are named correctly Rank is included Heart Point Values and others are posted correctly (x6.66, for example) Percentages of Item Drops are included All headings or sub-headings are appropriate The general stuff *salutes General Stuff* :P (Get the joke?) Make sure anyone who edits these pages observes the following, por favor. Thank you so much. Hope to catch you on the IRC... tomorrow's Election Day, so I have the WHOLE DAY OFF!

Maybe we should table those left or right with text next to it so it doesn't leave so much white space? Come to think of it, I'd almost rather do that with all the challenges. I usually play through the mission as I write the walkthrough; other than occasionally consulting GameFAQs for chest locations if I've already snagged them, all the info I have is literally in my hands. If you have stats that are only found elsewhere, it would be great if you could add those for me. It can take me anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour to write down one mission and it can get a bit tiring and makes me prone to making mistakes or missing info, so any proofreading after me would be a major help. *salutes Major Help* ^_- Unfortunately, I have to get up early in the morning; I'm probably bugging out as soon as I'm done with this. I will probably be on IRC tomorrow or Wednesday, so I will try and catch you then. Enjoy your day off!

It wasn't my turn though, I picked last time, so I'm really not sure who was supposed to take the November article. Also, I can see that you've picked Peter Pan. I think I'm going to change that if you don't mind. The article isn't really written too well, everything is quite brief.

It just mostly felt kind of weird having a featured article for October still up five days into November. You had mentioned something in the old Featured Article topic, but I guess that was for September, so that was my mistake. If staff are going to pick the articles, we really need to decide on a "schedule" or a voting proceedure or something. Otherwise, we really shouldn't bother with it.

Maybe the opening paragraph isn't so long, but that's because the character is minor. We hardly have any complete articles, so it's pretty difficult to choose. Peter Pan is going to be in Birth by Sleep, so it's probably best that we stay away from articles with speculation. But yeah, more people need to work on character articles... Our information is pretty lacking.

Spriting

And by some chance, I had brought my dice along! — 21:09, November 8, 2009 (UTC) Please, see User talk:KrytenKoro#Unused Panels's final few messages, and the corresponding edit summary on Panel System's History, the one by KrytenKoro. As you can see, there is an issue with the finding the correct Block-type sprites from the game. Since I know that you are a very skilled spriter, do you know of any spriting resource where I can find these? The Spriter's Resource was of no help, as it has the wrong sprites. If not, I also suggested that you might be able to create the correct forms of the sprites by recoloring or adding letters; however, I don't want you to feel like you have to do that, as having you actually create sprite-replicas for us is an awful lot of work. I'd rather just be able to find sprites to cut out of a sprite sheet.

If it's just recoloring or adding tiny things I can handle it; it'll just take some time. The panels are detailed, but I keep spriting palettes around for that very reason. If you can tell me exactly what we need, I can give it a whirl. Let me know what you guys decide.

The colors of the panels DTN added were correct, it's just that the letters were not. Fortunately, those letters often appear in different panels, just with the wrong colors (generally). If you need an actual list of which panels should have which letters, I can look through my game tomorrow.Glorious CHAOS! 03:26, November 9, 2009 (UTC)

WIKI HELP

HeartlessSlayer - You see, I want to help them because...because...well, they need us. TALK - *&&X% Sorry for the use of bold words for the title but I REALLY need your help on this and anyone else's who can. Besides being a member of the KH wikia, I am also a member of the Total Drama Island wikia, as seen here: http://totaldramaisland.wikia.com/wiki/Total_Drama_Wiki For a while now, the site has turned into another chaotic fansite and not a proper wikia such as this. For example, I tried to calm a few people down and tried to reason about waiting for the new material before getting hyped up, but then one of the admins on there took it as an offense. I tried to clear things up but all I've seen so far is that its been completely corrupted by fans. I was thinking maybe I could promote the fan-wiki there but I need help how I can approach to them about it so myself and anyone else on there or who else knows the show would like to help clean it up. What can I do?
