There are, as of February 2, 2018, twenty-five different channels on the Discord server. Most of the channels are related to projects on the wiki, and channels can be formed, at the request of involved editors, to help coordinate other projects. In ''[[Kingdom Hearts (game)|Kingdom Hearts]]'', Hollow Bastion is the penultimate world, and serves as Maleficent's headquarters, having taken over the world and overrun it with Heartless. When Sora, Donald, and Goofy arrive, they find the [[Beast]], injured and beaten by [[Riku]]. Riku declares himself the real Keyblade wielder, and summons the Keyblade away from Sora. Shocked, Sora collapses. Donald and Goofy proceed to follow Riku, following the [[Mickey Mouse|King's]] orders to follow the "key." Riku leaves, tossing Sora's old wooden sword on the ground in front of him. After Riku's gone, the Beast attempts to get up, only to stumble. Sora gets up and tries to help the Beast, who reveals he's come to the world in search of someone important to him, and he refuses to leave without her. Sora picks up his wooden sword, and team's up with the Beast, deciding not to leave without someone important he's been searching for, as well.

After traversing the castle, Sora and the Beast arrive in the Entrance Hall. The Beast sees an illusion of Belle, only for the illusion to turn into a Heartless. Enraged, the Beast pounces on the Heartless, the doors slamming behind him. Riku then confronts Sora, telling him to give up, to which Sora refuses, saying that the darkness will destroy his body, but not his heart. Riku attempts to attack Sora, launching a ball of dark fire at him, but he's saved by Goofy. Riku asks Goofy if he'd betray the King, to which Goofy answers that he wouldn't, but that he wouldn't betray Sora, either. Donald joins Goofy and Sora. Riku mocks Sora for lacking a weapon and for relying on his heart, but Sora responds with his famous line, "I don't need a weapon. My friends are my power!" For this, the Keyblade leaves Riku and returns to Sora's hand. Riku attacks them, but is defeated, and he runs away. The Beast rejoins the party, and notes that Sora's heart won the battle.

As Riku flees from the area, he encounters [[Ansem, Seeker of Darkness]], who promises to make Riku stronger if he succumbs to the Darkness. Ashamed from losing the Keyblade and angered with Sora, Riku succumbs. Meanwhile, Sora, Donald, and Goofy climb the castle to the chapel, where they confront Maleficent. She is quickly defeated, to which she flees to Riku. He stabs her heart with a new Keyblade he acquired, the Keyblade of heart, and releases her darkness, which transforms her into a dragon. Again, Sora and his friends defeat Maleficent. Riku reveals that Maleficent was simply a pawn under the control of the Heartless, despite her believing it was her in control, and he leaves. Sora and the gang continue until they reach the Grand Hall, where the Keyhole and the Princesses are located. Sora finds the comatose Kairi, to which Riku reveals that her heart has been lost, and that the Keyhole is incomplete without it. He also reveals that Kairi's heart is inside Sora. Sora, weakened by Kairi's reaction to Riku's Keyblade, asks Riku who he is. The possessed Riku reveals that he is Ansem, the Seeker of Darkness, and traps Goofy and Donald outside of the area so he can attack Sora and release Kairi's heart, but Sora immediately retaliates, and defeats Riku. He attempts to seal the Keyhole, but Goofy notes that the Keyhole is incomplete, and can't be sealed. Sora then stabs himself with Riku's Keyblade to release Kairi's heart. The event also destroys the Keyblade, which housed the hearts of the other princesses. Kairi awakens to see Sora disappear, after which Ansem appears and attempts to attack Kairi. However, Riku, trapped within, is able to stop Ansem long enough for Kairi, Donald, and Goofy to escape. Back in the Entrance Hall, Heartless appear and attempt to attack the trio. Kairi identifies one as Sora, and hugs it to protect it from the Heartless that attack. A bright light appears, and Sora is returned to his human self. The Beast appears, telling the group that he wouldn't leave without Belle, and so the group leaves Hollow Bastion.

On their return, they find Belle in the library, and the Beast and Belle are reunited. In ''[[Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories]]'', Hollow Bastion, along with Belle, Beast, and Maleficent, appears again as figment of Sora's memories. There, Belle denies her love for the Beast to protect him from Maleficent. However, Belle is unable to completely suppress her love, and Sora has to defeat Maleficent. In the basement, Hollow Bastion appears in Riku's story, where he has to defeat Maleficent in her dragon form.
==Bots==
The Discord server has three bots: DynoBot (appearing as Tron), and UB3R-B0T (appearing as Moogle Bot). These bots help moderate the server, and are not developed or maintained by either of the wikis or the Server Admins. Server Admins do, however, have access to Moogle Bot and Chirity's settings, such as what commands are enabled or when/how Moogle Bot auto-responds. The following is a list of some of the commands that users can use with the bots.


Hollow Bastion plays an active role again in ''[[Kingdom Hearts II]]''. It first appears as part of flashbacks in [[Roxas]]'s dreams, cutscenes playing out of Sora's original journey. Later, when Sora awakens, he, Donald, and Goofy travel to Hollow Bastion, where they find [[Yuffie]], [[Leon]], [[Aerith]], [[Cid]], and [[Merlin]]. When Sora, Donald, and Goofy return to Hollow Bastion, they learn that the Restoration Committee has found Ansem's Computer and lab, and they go to the castle to find Leon and see the computer. While waiting for Leon to return, Donald climbs on the computer to chase after [[Stitch]], who had fallen on the keyboard. Then, the Master Control Program is heard cautioning against the continuous stomping of the keyboard, which Donald had done by stepping on it. When Donald attempts to get off, the MCP fires a laser that takes the trio into [[Space Paranoids]]. They later return from inside the computer in search of the password to the DTD. During their search, they find a drawing for the Door to Darkness, which they find is the DTD. Then, [[Mickey Mouse|King Mickey]] arrives, and gives them a clue as to the password. The trio returns to Space Paranoids to help Tron. When they return from the computer, they begin to attempt to get information from the computer regarding Riku, Kairi, and the Organization. When the computer returns each query by saying the data is corrupt, Sora pounds the keyboard in frustration, causing an image of Ansem the Wise to appear. The King appears then, and explains to Sora, Donald, and Goofy that [[Ansem, Seeker of Darkness]] was actually someone else who took the name of Ansem the Wise, and that the fake Ansem's Nobody was the leader of Organization XIII. A minor quake causes the group to rush outside to witness the damage the Heartless have caused in Hollow Bastion, destroying and severely damaging a wall. Though Mickey tells the trio to go and find Riku and Kairi, Sora, Donald, and Goofy defy the King's orders and run ahead to help out Leon and the gang in Hollow Bastion. They soon encounter [[Demyx]], who after looking confused and afraid for several minutes, attacks the group, though the trio defeat and destroy him. The King appears then, apparently angry at the trio, though he comes to understand their motives and sets out with them. A Heartless blasts a rock that hurls towards the King. Goofy pushes the King out of the way, but the rock then hits him and knocks him out, seemingly dead. Angered, the King, Donald, and Sora run out to destroy the Heartless that are invading Hollow Bastion. They continue separately, Leon, Yuffie, [[Tifa]], and Cloud helping Sora out along the way. While they take a break, Goofy suddenly appears, noting that he often gets hit in the head. The group continues to the Great Maw, where most of the Heartless are gathered. There, Mickey remembers Xehanort's name as the apprentice to Ansem the Wise. A battle of 1000 Heartless ensues, and the group sets out separately to destroy them. Then, they catch up to the King and the leader of Organization XIII. But before they are able to question him, the mysterious character disappears, the King chasing right after him. Then, [[Axel]] appears, and tells the group about [[Xemnas]], the Nobody of Xehanort and leader of the Organization, as well as apologizing for kidnapping Kairi. He also explains that Sora is actually helping the Organization by slaying the Heartless, which releases hearts that become Kingdom Hearts. However, he runs as [[Saix]] appears, who promises that Axel would be punished for betraying the Organization and refuses to take Sora to Kairi. Though Maleficent appears and attempts to make an alliance with Sora to defeat the Organization and the Nobodies, she is quickly defeated, leaving Sora frustrated and confused on how to proceed without using the Keyblade. The three are suddenly taken to a dark area, where a hooded man gives them a box with ice cream and a photo of [[Hayner]], [[Olette]], [[Pence]], and [[Roxas]] in [[Twilight Town]]. Upon their return, they find that the Master Control Program has seized control of the town maintenance system, and is releasing Heartless into Hollow Bastion using the Heartless Manufactory. Sora, Donald, and Goofy fight their way through town to Ansem's Computer and once more go into Space Paranoids. When they defeat the MCP, Tron takes control of the system, after which he reveals to the gang the way the town once looked, and reminding them of the town's true name, Radiant Garden.

In ''[[Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days]]'', Hollow Bastion appears in a flash of memories to Roxas.
 
Radiant Garden returns in ''[[Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep]]''. [[Terra]] arrives first to hunt down [[Vanitas]], though he soon begins to follow [[Master Xehanort]]. He soon sees a huge Unversed fly by, and chases after it. [[Aqua]] arrives and runs to the castle when [[Scrooge McDuck]] tells her he saw someone go to the castle. There, she finds a four-year-old Kairi under the attack of the [[Unversed]]. Though she attempts to protect the girl, Aqua soon finds that she is unable to fight, to which Mickey suddenly arrives. Together, they defeat the Unversed and join forces, though Mickey's Star Shard soon reacts and takes him away. Aqua then puts a protective spell on Kairi, which would one day take her to the [[Destiny Islands]] and the light of [[Sora|another]]. She then sees a huge Unversed fly by, and begins to follow after it. [[Ventus]] arrives in pursuit of Mickey, who goes into the castle, though [[Aeleus]] and [[Dilan]] keep him out of the castle. Then, a huge Unversed hovers by, and Ventus pursues it. The three friends follow their Unversed until they join together, and the trio of friends attacks the Unversed together. After this, Ventus gives Aqua and Terra tickets to the Dream Festival in [[Disney Town]], which he had received earlier from Scrooge McDuck. Aqua then reveals that she was watching Terra on orders from [[Master Eraqus]], which makes him angry, and he storms off. Ventus, equally hurt by Aqua's actions, soon follows after. Terra encounters [[Braig]], who claims that he has Master Xehanort hostage, and will release him in exchange for the Keyblade. Terra follows Braig beyond the town, where he battles Braig and ultimately gives into his own darkness. Ashamed, Terra realizes he cannot return [[Land of Departure|home]] but Xehanort tells him that he doesn't have to, and makes Terra a true Keyblade Master. Ventus, meanwhile, saves a young orphan, [[Ienzo]], from the Unversed. A scientist named [[Even]] then appears and thanks Ven, noting that he feels they will meet again. Two teenagers appear then, [[Lea]] and [[Isa]]. Lea challenges Even, but loses embarrassingly. Lea says that he makes friends so that he can live forever in the memories of others. Ventus, reminded of his friends, goes in search of Terra and Aqua. Aqua, meanwhile, encounters Vanitas, and fights him. He compliments her on her abilities, and mysteriously leaves. Ventus arrives and asks Aqua if he can go with her, but she tells him to go home before she leaves again. He continues to where Terra is, but he leaves without him.
 
In the Final Episode, Aqua returns to Radiant Garden to find Terra. There, she battles a Xehanort-possesed Terra, who attempts in the end to destroy Terra by turning the Keyblade on himself. Terra-Xehanort falls into a pool of Darkness that surrounds him. Aqua dives in to save him, but is trapped herself in the Realm of Darkness. Ansem arrives, brought by Braig, and asks the now-amnesic Xehanort his name. The only thing the young man can remember is the name "Xehanort".
 
A data version of Hollow Bastion appears in ''[[Kingdom Hearts Re:coded]]''. It is very similar in appearance to its original appearance in ''Kingdom Hearts'', as it is based on the events recorded in Jiminy's Journal from that world.
 
Radiant Garden appears in ''[[Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance]]''. In the opening, a flashback is seen to when Xehanort released the hearts of the other five apprentices, and declares himself as Ansem. Later, in Ansem's Computer room, Lea, Even, Aeleus, Dilan, and Ienzo appear on the floor. Only Lea, Aeleus, and Ienzo awaken, the other two still "out cold", though stable. Lea searches the castle for Braig and Isa, but when he is unable to find them, he takes his search beyond Radiant Garden.

FOR KHWIKI:CHAT/DISCORD

Discord is a free voice-over-IP (VOIP) voice and text chat application designed specifically for gamers. Programs and apps have been released for Discord on Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and Linux, as well as via Web Browser. It first released in March 2015.

Towards the end of December 2017, the Kingdom Hearts Wikiverse, comprised of the Kingdom Hearts Wiki, the Keyhole, the Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ Wiki, and the Kingdom Hearts Fanon Wiki, began operating a Discord server for editors and community members alike. Through this server, all can join and engage in socializing, chatting, and also organizing on the wikis, including the Kingdom Hearts Wiki.

Rules

  1. Be kind and civil: Please be courteous to others. Don't engage in disruptive, rude, or offensive behavior, kupo.
  2. Don't be inappropriate or offensive: Don't engage in attacking other people, especially on the basis of gender, race, ethnicity, political affiliation, nationality, or religion. Don't post things that are violent, sexually explicit, or pornographic. You know, the works. If it can get you banned on any of the wikis, it will likely get you kicked or banned here.
  3. Be yourself: You are you, nobody else! Please, feel free to be yourself here.
  4. Don't spam: We don't like your spam all over the place, and it's generally not very tasty, kupo. What is spam, you ask? If your links are taking over most of the chat, or is meant to attract unsuspecting users, it's spam. To make it simpler, we're limiting off-topic linking to 3 back-to-back. Please clearly explain where your links go, especially when they're about other Discord servers. Trust us, we like talking about more than Kingdom Hearts, but this isn't a link dump server.
  5. Don't ask to be a mod or admin: Our roles here are based on our roles and responsibilities on the wikis, so don't ask. Besides, they're nothing to brag about anyways.

Server setup

There are, as of February 2, 2018, twenty-five different channels on the Discord server. Most of the channels are related to projects on the wiki, and channels can be formed, at the request of involved editors, to help coordinate other projects. There is also a channel that acts as an extension to the wiki's The World That Never Was forum.

Joining

If you have a Discord account, you can join by simply clicking here. If you do not have an account and do not want to make one, you can join the server by following these instructions:

  1. Simply go to the Discord and select "Open Discord in Browser".
  2. Type in a nickname of your choosing and verify you're not a robot
  3. You will see one of two paths from here:
  1. A tutorial will pop up. You can click to skip the tutorial, or take it if you've never used Discord before.
  2. When it asks to register, simply click on the darker background to close it.
  3. Click on the + sign on the left hand side, and select "Join a Server"
  4. Input this link: https://discord.gg/p9mEhe7

OR

  1. A pop up will ask for an invite link or code. Put this link: https://discord.gg/p9mEhe7
  2. You will be asked to register your account. You can choose to do so, or simply click on "Skip".
  3. A final screen will prompt you to download the Discord Desktop app. You can do so, or simply click "Done" to finish.

Staff and Roles

On the Discord server, there are several roles, ir positions and responsibilities labeled. The following are the start positions:

  • KHWiki Staff: All members of the staff on Kingdom Hearts Wiki, listed with a lavender purple nickname. They can kick, mute, and ban users who disobey the rules on the server just as they can here.
  • Server Admins: Users in charge of the server and any issues with it. They can also moderate the server. The following table lists the current server admins:

Bots

The Discord server has three bots: DynoBot (appearing as Tron), and UB3R-B0T (appearing as Moogle Bot). These bots help moderate the server, and are not developed or maintained by either of the wikis or the Server Admins. Server Admins do, however, have access to Moogle Bot and Chirity's settings, such as what commands are enabled or when/how Moogle Bot auto-responds. The following is a list of some of the commands that users can use with the bots.

Tron

Tron is the main moderation bot on the server, and is powered by Dyno. All commands must be preceded with the * (asterisk) character. A complete list of Tron's commands can be found here.

  • *help: Tron sends a direct message with information on using its commands, including prefix information and a link to its commands page.
  • *whois: List information on a user. Ex. *whois KeybladeSpyMaster
  • *info: Get information on the bot.
  • *serverinfo: Get information and stats on the server.
  • *uptime: Get uptime information for Tron.
  • *membercount: Displays information for the number of users on the server, including bots.
  • *rank [rank name]: Join or leave the specified rank. Ex. *rank KHWiki
  • *ranks: Displays a list of joinable ranks.
  • *roles: Displays a list of all roles on the server and member counts.
  • *roleinfo [role]: Displays information on the specified role. Ex. *rank KHWiki Staff
  • *tag [tag name]: show a saved tag, which is a block of information previously saved by an admin. Ex. *tag KHWiki
  • *tags: shows a list of saved tags
  • *flipcoin: Flip a coin.
  • *roll [optional number]: Roll dice. Define a number after the command to determine how many dice to roll, up to 5. Default is one. Ex. *roll; *roll 3
  • *rps [choose]: Play Rock-Paper-Scissors with Tron. Ex. *rps rock

Music

Note that you must be in the voice channel to use Tron's music commands.
  • *play [url]: Add the specified song in the url address to Tron's music queue. Ex. *play https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wlJRozz-BFo
  • *stop: Stop playing music.
  • *queue list: List all the songs in Tron's music queue.
  • *queue remove [number]: Remove the listed song from the music queue. The number refers to the number found in the queue list, use the *queue list command to display the queue.
  • *queue clear: Clears the music queue.
  • *queue repeat: Enable/disable repeating the music queue.
  • *queue shuffle: Shuffles the songs in the music queue.
  • *yt [search term]: Displays information for the first result for the search query in YouTube.
  • *yt next: Displays information for the next result for the search query in YouTube.
  • *skip: Skips the song currently playing.

Moderator Commands

Moderator commands are available only to Site Staff (KHWiki Staff, Keyhole Staff, KHUX Wiki Staff) and Server Admins. Moderator commands such as mute, ban, and warn should be used in #ansems-computer or #mod-report to maintain privacy and anonymity.
  • *mute [user] [minutes] [reason]: Mute a specific user, making them so they cannot type or speak for a specified amount of time, in minutes. List the reason.
  • *unmute [user] [reason]: Unmute a specified user, allowing them to speak and type again. List the reason.
  • *ban [user] [limit] [reason]: Ban a member off the server. List the user, the time limit, and the reason.
  • *kick [user] [reason]: Kick a member off the server. List the user and reason.
  • *unban [user], [optional reason]: Unban a member from the server. Optionally list a reason.
  • *warn [user] [reason]: Warn the specified user for the specified reason. Moogle Bot sends a message with the reason for warning to the user in a direct message. The message does not mention the staff member issuing the warning.
  • *clearwarn [user]: Clear warnings for a specified user.
  • *role [user] [role]: Add a user to or remove a user from the specified role. Ex. *role KeybladeSpyMaster KHWiki
  • *role add [user] [role]: Add a user to the specified role.
  • *role remove [user] [role]: Remove a user from the specified role.
  • *role in [current role] [role]: For users currently in a role, add them to or remove them from the specified role.
  • *listmods: List all moderators and moderator roles.
  • *purge [number] [optional user]: Delete a specified number of messages from the channel, up to 1000. Optionally, remove the specified number of messages for a specific user. Purge commands apply to the channel they're typed in, and automatically delete the purge command itself without counting towards the specified number of messages to delete.
  • *purge match [text] [number]: Delete a specified number of messages containing the specific text, up to 100.
  • *purge not [text] [number]: Delete a specified number of messages not containing the specific text, up to 100.
  • *purge links [number]: Delete a specified number of links in the channel, up to 100.
  • *purge images [number]: Delete a specified number of messages with images in the channel, up to 100.
  • *clean: Cleanup Tron's responses.

Moogle Bot

Moogle Bot is a bot more for playing, and is powered by UB3R-B0T. All commands must be preceded with the . (period) character. A list of all of Moogle Bot's commands can be found here.

  • help: displays help urls, like links to the admin dashboard and the commands list.
  • .b [search query]: returns the top result from a Bing search of the term. Ex: .b KHWiki
  • .bgg [game title]: returns information on a board game. Ex: .bgg Monopoly
  • .choose [item1], [item2], ...: randomly chooses an item from a list.
  • .cowsay [text]: outputs the text in a fun cow-spoken speech bubble.
  • .define [word]: gives the definition of the given word, according to Oxford Dictionaries.
  • .expand [shorturl]: gives the full url of a shortened url link.
  • .fact: returns a random fact from the Internet. Fact being a relative term.
  • .fortune: get a fortune from yerkee.com
  • .g [search query]: returns the top result from a Google search of the term. Ex: .g KHWiki
  • .gamerank [game name]: returns the game ranking review of a game title.
  • .gif [search query]: gives a random gif for the term. Ex: .gif hype
  • .hltb [game title]: returns the approximate time to beat a game, per howlongtobeat.com
  • .isup [site url]: checks if the given site is up or not.
  • .quickpoll: starts a quick yes/no poll using Discord reactions.
  • .quote: generates a random, previously-saved quote.
  • .roll: rolls a die. Default is six-sided, but you can change the number of sides by using .roll [number of sides]
  • .seen [username]: returns the last time a user was seen on the server
  • .shorten [url]: shortens a url.
  • .tumblr [username]: gives the last post to the given username, and a link to that user's tumblr.
  • .twitter [handle]: gives the last tweet by the given handle.
  • .uptime: returns the bot's uptime.
  • .userinfo [username]: returns some basic information for the user.
  • .weather [zip code/city,state]: returns information for the weather in the given location.
  • .wiki [search query]: returns the first result for the search query on Wikipedia.
  • .yt [search query]: returns the first result for the search query on YouTube.
