Dr. Finkelstein's ingredients are two key items that appear in Kingdom Hearts. Dr. Finkelstein needs them to create an artificial heart. The first ingredient, a bunch of Forget-Me-Not flowers, is received after finding Sally in the Graveyard. The other ingredient, a Jack-in-the-Box, is found in a chest after completing the puzzle in the Boneyard.

Ice cream (アイス Aisu?) is a type of consumable item in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep that manually places the character into a set Command Style. However, using an Ice Cream will not always cause the character to switch to the desired Command Style—15% of the time, it will instead activate the special Frozen Fortune Command Style, which can only be activated through this method, and if the player is already using a Command Style, there is a separate 15% chance of activating the current style's Finish Command.

Like all consumable items in this game, Ice Creams can only be equipped as item commands, but they must first be made at the Ice Cream Shop using the specified ingredients. Ice Cream ingredients can only be obtained from Prize Pods, rare Unversed that hide in most worlds. Each ice cream can be made as soon as the ingredients are collected, though it cannot be used until its respective Command Style is unlocked, and once the character has made their first batch of an Ice Cream, Huey, Dewie, and Louie also put the recipe up for sale, so that the character can obtain more ice cream either by spending munny or through continued mixing. Once Terra, Ventus, or Aqua obtains each of their types of Ice Cream, they also receive the Sweetstack.

You don't see these rare Unversed every day. Attacking or defeating them causes them to drop rare items called "delicious prizes." Mmm! Prize Pods won't attack you, but they will skedaddle the moment they're spotted. You'll have to chase them down if you want dibs on all that deliciousness.

The Prize Pod is an Unversed that is found in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. Although it is a variant of the Red Hot Chili, Blue Sea Salt, and Yellow Mustard Unversed, it is passive in nature, and is similar to the Mushroom Heartless from earlier games. Prize Pods appear in most worlds, and have conditions that must be met for them to appear, ranging from defeating the enemies in an area to simple random chance. Each time a Prize Pod is damaged, it will drop one of a specific set of Ingredients, depending on which world it is found in, and if not slain in a set amount of time, it will flee. Once a world's set of Prize Pods flee or are slain, they will not reappear until the character has left the world and returned.

Strategy

Prize Pods appear in exactly one location in nearly every world (usually a different location per character) and in certain matches in the Mirage Arena. They usually appear in groups of four, and will flee after thirty seconds without ever attacking. If they do not appear when the player character fulfills their appearance conditions, then the player can simply leave the room and try again, but once they appear in a world they will not reappear until the player leaves to the Lanes Between and then comes back. For every hit, they will drop an ingredient for making ice cream, and fighting Prize Pods is the only way to acquire these ingredients. Prize Pods drop two to three specific ingredients per character per world, so in order to get all the ingredients the player must defeat each set of Prize Pods in every world they inhabit.

To effectively and easily yield the most amount of ingredients from Prize Pods, it is recommended to have a repeating deck of a Magnet-type spell and then two Thunder-type spells, as well as a projectile-type Shotlock. Upon their appearance, use Magnega and then the following Thundagas. This will activate the Thunderbolt Command Style, nulling Magnega, so it should be recast. At this point step back and use a Shotlock to its maximum number of lock-ons. Once they have either been defeated or have fled, go in and collect the dropped ingredients. Another combo only Aqua can use would be to use a Magnet-type spell while on the ground, then following up with Raging Storm for multiple hits while the Magnet-type spell runs its course. Ventus can also use a combo of a Magnet-type spell and then follow up with either Faith or Salvation until the Magnet-Type spell finishes. Ventus and Aqua can also make use of Time Splicer. Another effective tactic for Terra, Ventus, and Aqua, is to use Transcendence, although the short start-up time may give the Prize Pods enough time to move out of the radius of Transcendence; an alternative is Mega Flare, which has a shorter start-up time; two Mega Flares should be enough to beat them.

Another and much simpler strategy is to simply put as many Magnera as possible in your deck and cast them relentlessly. Only Magnera, though: Magnet is too weak and has a short range while Magnega is too powerful (meaning it will kill them instead of milking their items).

This appears to mostly be the in-game order, but only switching T > V > A just before an ingredient that all three share, rather than taking into account when two characters share an ingredient (which is closer to a thematic ordering). However, there are some additional misplacements: cream fluff, fizzy tizzy, and sky blue mousse are out of order this way, and for some reason crystal sugar, mermaid salt, prickle pepper, toonbasco, and merry mint are moved to end."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." • Reorganize by in-game order
  • make sortable
  • add br
  • specify locations?
  • see ice cream talk page
  • rename to "Flavors" -- merge with Prize Pod?
  • check ultimania for type names
  • remove nihongo and locations from ice cream page
  • move ice cream prices to Game:Disney Town?
  • "A delicious prize obtained from a Prize Pod. It looks like it could be used as an ingredient."
  • Add flavor prize render.
  • article should explain design and basket mix-up in original BBS, and cover topping > spice sprite change
  • It seems like Rich Marshmallow was mistakenly placed at end of list -- are we willing to move it upward to be with rest of toppings, even though it's not strict in-game order? Keeping it where it is looks ugly, but allows a player to easily check against their in-game stock via sorting by character. Or, we could put it as part of the cake ingredients (which it seems like it would thematically fit), and just note that it uses the wrong icon in-game?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves."
