Terra using Slot Edge in the Radiant Garden During the Bladecharge Command Style

Slot Edge (スロットブレード, Surotto Burēdo, lit. "Slot Blade") is a technique in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. When used, the player must press at the right time to perform three downward strikes. As each strike hits, icons similar to a slot machine appear. If all the icons match up, a prize box will be dropped by the defeated foe.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Slot Edge is a Basic Attack Command that takes up one slot in the Command Deck, has a maximum level of 3, and a normal reload time of 10 seconds, and fills up the Command Gauge by 25%.

• Terra, Ventus, and Aqua can create Slot Edge through Command Melding.
• Terra, Ventus, and Aqua can purchase create Slot Edge from the Moogle Shop for 700 munny once the command has already been obtained elsewhere.
• Terra can find Slot Edge in a chest at the Raceway.
• Ventus can find Slot Edge in a chest at the Raceway.
• Aqua can find Slot Edge in a chest at the Raceway.
• The Zack D-Link has Slot Edge in its Lv.0, Lv.1, and Lv.2 Command Deck.

Recipes

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

Slot Edge is a Basic-class Attack Command that can be melded through seven different recipes, listed in the Attack Recipe.

• The first recipe can be melded by Terra, Ventus, and Aqua, and is a type G recipe that has a 5% chance of transforming into Ars Arcanum when Ventus melds it.
  • Cura (LV2) + Blizzard Edge (LV2)
• The second recipe can be melded by Terra, Ventus, and Aqua, and is a type P recipe that has a 5% chance of transforming into Ars Arcanum when Ventus melds it.
  • Cura (LV2) + Poison Edge (LV2)
• The third recipe can only be melded by Aqua, and is a type P recipe that has a 10% chance of transforming into Break Time when Aqua melds it.
  • Curaga (LV2) + Focus Barrier (LV2)
• The fourth recipe can be melded by Terra and Ventus, and is a type P recipe that has a 10% chance of transforming into Break Time when Terra or Ventus melds it.
  • Curaga (LV2) + Focus Block (LV2)
• The fifth recipe can only be melded by Aqua, and is a type N recipe that has a 10% chance of transforming into Break Time when Aqua melds it.
  • Curaga (LV2) + Renewal Barrier (LV2)
• The sixth recipe can be melded by Terra and Ventus, and is a type N recipe that has a 10% chance of transforming into Break Time when Terra or Ventus melds it.
  • Curaga (LV2) + Renewal Block (LV2)
• The seventh recipe recipe can only be melded by Aqua, and is a type O recipe.
  • Wishing Edge (LV2) + Cure (LV2)
