Magic Pulse (マジックパルス Majikku Parusu?) is a series of techniques that appear in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. They are Finish commands that allow the user to unleash a spinning orb that may inflict status effects on enemies.

Mechanics

Magic Pulse 1

Magic Pulse 1 is a Level 2 Finish Command that can be used exclusively by Aqua. It summons two orbs of magic that spiral upwards around Aqua. It has a 25% chance of confusing enemies.

Magic Pulse 2

Magic Pulse 2 is a Level 3 Finish Command that can be used exclusively by Aqua. It summons two orbs of magic that spiral upwards around Aqua. It has a 50% chance of confusing or freezing enemies.

Magic Pulse 3

Magic Pulse 3 is a Level 4 Finish Command that can be used exclusively by Aqua. It summons two orbs of magic that spiral upwards around Aqua. It has a 75% chance of confusing, freezing, or blinding enemies.

Magic Pulse 4

Magic Pulse 4 is a Level 5 Finish Command that can be used exclusively by Aqua. It summons two orbs of magic that spiral upwards around Aqua and stun enemies. Two additional attacks can be added by tapping X when prompted.

Learning Magic Pulse

Magic Pulse 1

  • Aqua learns Magic Pulse 1 after earning 2000 CP while Finish is the equipped Finish command.

Magic Pulse 2

  • Aqua learns Magic Pulse 2 after earning 3800 CP while Magic Pulse 1 is the equipped Finish command.

Magic Pulse 3

  • Aqua learns Magic Pulse 3 after defeating 350 enemies while Magic Pulse 2 is the equipped Finish command.

Magic Pulse 4

  • Aqua learns Magic Pulse 4 after defeating 500 enemies while Magic Pulse 3 is the equipped Finish command.
