Aero (element)

{{youmay|the element|[[Aero|the spell}} Aero (エアロ, Earo), often referred to as Wind, is an element that appear in the Kingdom Hearts series. The Aero element is associated with the Gust material and the Air-toss status effect. In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, it is the opposite of Thunder.

Attacks and abilities

In Kingdom Hearts series, both allies and enemies can use Aero element. However, in some games, it is only available to enemies. Aero often appeared to player as a series of Aero spells, however, the effects of Aero spells differ around games. Some party members can also use Aero spells, either its adaptations and original. In some games, other Aero-element attacks are also available for player, such as Tornado, Aero Raid, and Cyclone. In Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, the power of Aero can be raised by Aero +1 chips. In Kingdom Hearts II, while Sora doesn't utilize the wind element anymore, there are enemies that infuses their attacks with the wind element such as Emerald Blues.

Aero Resistance

While the element of wind appears in most games in the Kingdom Hearts series, Aero Resistance accessories can only be found in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Also, in Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Sora can increases his resistance to wind element by equipping Aero Resistance chips in the Stat Matrix.
