Lucky Strike (ラックアップ Rakku Appu , lit. "Luck Up"), also translated as Lucky Lucky, is an ability introduced in Kingdom Hearts. It increases the drop rate of items, and the effect can be increased by equipped multiple copies of the ability, when available.
Mechanics
In Kingdom Hearts, Lucky Strike is a support ability that requires 3 AP to equip. The drop rate is increased by a factor of 1 + 0.5n, where n represents the number of Lucky Strike abilities equipped by the party.
In Kingdom Hearts II, Lucky Lucky is a support ability that requires 5 AP to equip. Equipping all seven available copies of the ability, including those attached to equipment, results in an enemy's base drop rates being multiplied by 627.5%. In Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, the maximum number that can be equipped in fourteen, but the boosts stack linearly instead of exponentially, resulting in a drop rate increase of 800%.
