Seifer Almasy is an antagonist originally from the world of Final Fantasy VIII. Like some of the Final Fantasy characters already present in the Kingdom Hearts series, he appears a younger than his original portrayal. This Seifer also stems from the Kingdom Hearts universe, so he does differ to the Seifer Almasy of FFVIII, though they are essentially the same character.

Apearence and Personality
Story
Seifer's clothes are slightly based on FFVIII's original version, but redesigned to match with his age and new style, that includes a beanie with the "Ore" kanji (which is a distinctly masculine and sometimes vulgar way of refering to oneself). The scar Squall gave him in FFVIII is also shown in the game. In Kingdom Hearts 2, Seifer's gunblade "Hyperion" is replaced with a practice staff which he uses for all battles.
He is the leader of the simulated Twilight Town's Disciplinary Committee (a reference to FFVIII Balamb Garden's Disciplinary Committee) which includes his followers Rai, Fuu and Vivi.

His personality is also very similar to the Final Fantasy version: he's cocky, sarcastic and a self-proclaimed protector of order (even if he's only trying to make people follow his own rules).
He appears to be a rival of Roxas, always bad-mouthing him (he calls Roxas a chicken-wuss the same way he usually did with Zell Dintch in Final Fantasy VIII) and picking fights with him and his friends. He is also the town's Champion for the Struggle Tournament in Twilight Town. He can be considered one of Twilight Town's two bosses alongside Axel.

Game Role
In the real Twilight Town, when he meets Sora, Donald and Goofy later in the game, he treats them like Roxas in the illusion Twilight Town. But when they save him and his gang from trouble, he gave them the Struggle Trophy, a sign of great respect. Seifer can also be fought in a Struggle battle after beating both Hayner and Setzer ten times each.
