Guard (リフレクトガード Rifurekuto Gādo?, lit. "Reflect Guard"), also translated as Block in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, is an ability which appears in Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II, and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, it is an ability panel, and it can be upgraded by linking it to a Block LV+ Ⓛ (ガードアップⓁ Gādo Appu Ⓛ?, lit. "Guard Up Ⓛ") panel. It can be leveled up to Block LV2, Block LV3, and Block LV4. It can also be linked to various sub-panels, which can be synthesized at the Moogle Shop.

In all games, it allows the user to deflect a frontal enemy attack. In Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II it is activated by pressing Square, in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories it is automatic, and in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days it is activated by pressing Y. In Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II, "Guard" requires 2 AP to equip, while in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, it is activated by the Large Body card, costs 40 CP to add to your deck, and lasts for 1 reload.

In Kingdom Hearts, the guarding action is a single blocking swing, while in Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, it is a continuous action that lasts a short period of time and can block consecutive attacks. In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, leveling up "Block" increases blocking speed and decreases the recoil distance that occurs after a successful block.
