If you want an answer to a general question use the forum next time then you may not need to ask it twice;-). Currently there is no way to rip the models from a 3DS cart because the content is encrypted and until this day it hasn't been cracked. There are also no other means to get this data (for example with an emulator) so we're stuck with these images for the time being. ShardofTruth 16:28, 13 November 2013 (UTC)

Incorrect Category

This page is currently categorized under Category:Keyblades (Sora) and Category:Keyblades (Riku). This seems incorrect. However, I can't figure out what template is causing it or how to fix it, because wiki code is terrifying. --Billybobfred (talk) 06:08, 13 November 2017 (UTC)

Name from KHIII

Dos this thing have a name, yet? Given temp party members in KHIII seem to be given the same treatment as Donald and Goofy, it should have a proper name somewhere in the same data where somebody got Braveheart's name, but I don't know how to do data mining and I can't die in a fight with an allies casting Cure magic on me whenever they get the chance. IIRC “Braveheart” was revealed in merchandise (it might’ve also been in an interview, but I can’t recall). Game-overing to prepare and retry during the gauntlet does not bring up stats for the temp. allies, at least for this fight (I did it to try exactly this), so that’s out. "Mickey's new Star Key" is just the Kingdom Key D gone through a χ[chi]-style upgrade. Munny to Magitek says it gets a designator at most. Anyways, if the death-and-preparation route didn't give us anything, I guess it falls to data mining as far as English names go, unless "never been released outside of Japan" on the Ultimania page does not mean "exclusively written in Japanese". So, just browsing the weapon pages. All of Sora's Keyblades, Donald's staves, and Goofy's shields have proper pics. Is that because someone's been datamining, or is that just excellent screenshot trimming at work? Images aren't super-urgent. And I get the unpleasant feeling we're gonna get more glowy spheres anyways. What we really need is stats and names. Setting aside the fact that this thing has been nameless for a few years now, and there's some well-founded #DamnYouMuscleMemory going on, "Lea's Keyblade" is given as an also-known. If that sort of thing merits a redirect for Master Xehanort's Keyblade, it merits one for Lea's. Draconai (talk) 00:00, 2 March 2019 (UTC)

So, this might sound a little repetitive, but I don't know the Ultimania. This thing's got an infobox and stats, and no 'this is the direct translation of the Japanese name' warning. Can't remember if this wiki does that one or not. Were the stats given in the Ultimania, or is that a reward reaped from the save editor that ShardofTruth mentioned? And do we know whether we can get similar data for the other Guardians' Keyblades? Destiny's Embrace, Braveheart, Oathkeeper & Oblivion (or does Roxas equip Oathkeeper and Oblivion separately?), Wayward Wind, Master's Defender, and Kingdom Key D are lacking KHIII info. And I get the feeling Xion having the Kingdom Key L equipped is gonna be classified as a different weapon, too, so if the procedure for 358 maintains that's gonna need another subsection. The screenshot linked above does show stats for the Keyblade, which means the others should have stats too, seeing as they're all party members at some point. We do have a template to mark pages that have translated names, but I'm not sure if we use that for names taken from the Ultimania, or only for names from the Japanese versions of games. Japanese is Japanese (Dear sweet baby Etro, that could come across in so many unpleasant ways), so I would assume the template applies as long as we don't have an English name. And it turns out that Mickey's new Star Key does in fact get a separate name and thus separate article, so Rex Ronald Rilander gets to say "I told you so" and we've got another iron in the fire. ReMind

The ReMind DLC reveals that Lea could and did still use his Keyblade during the battle against Saïx and Xemnas after the latter supposedly destroyed it and before Roxas and Xion took his and Kairi's places on Sora's team respectively, it was just that that part was skipped in the main story and Lea had sustained too many injuries and used too much energy in the fight to keep going. 192.208.162.57 06:29, 28 January 2020 (UTC)

Lea could use the Keyblade after that even in the main game, you can see him use the Keyblade when they block Kingdom Hearts to let Sora enter in Scala ad Caelum. Xemnas never said he destroyed the Keyblade, and actually, he did not destroy it, we can see the Keyblade just disappear, seems more correct say Xemnas just disable it temporary--93.41.38.64 09:03, 28 January 2020 (UTC)

The page says that Xemnas supposedly destroying his Keyblade was the reason he had to withdraw from the fight until they held off Kingdom Hearts, but the ReMind DLC shows us that the actual reason he had to withdraw was what I stated above, as not only was he able to continue fighting after Xemnas supposedly destroyed his Keyblade, but he was still able to summon his Keyblade without any need to repair it, even using it to hold off Saïx as Roxas and Xion rushed toward Xemnas, as well as when he, Roxas, and Xion struck Xemnas to reclaim the sigil. I know he was able to use it when they held off Kingdom Hearts, but that's not at all related to what I was saying or why I was saying it. 192.208.162.57 09:15, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
