Hunny Blasters
Hunny Blasters (ハニーブラスター Hanī Burasutā, lit. "Hunny Blaster") is a Formchange in Kingdom Hearts III. It allows the user to transform the Keyblade into twin guns and fire honey projectiles at enemies.
Mechanics[edit]
In Kingdom Hearts III, Hunny Blasters is the first Formchange of the Hunny Spout Keyblade, associated with Guardian Form. It has a base duration of 20 seconds and a maximum combo length of 4. It behaves nearly identically to Double Arrowguns. Its basic combo has Sora fire homing bullets of honey from the guns at the enemy, being able to move while firing. Sora's shots all have a 100% chance of inflicting the Honey status effect for 8 seconds, further slowing affected enemies the more it is applied. Holding
activates Auto-Shot, which shifts the camera into a third-person over-the-shoulder shooter perspective as Sora rapidly fires the guns with a red reticle showing Sora's aim. Filling the situation gauge while in Hunny Blasters allows Sora to Formchange into Hunny Launcher.
Hunny Blasters uses Dual-style Magic.

Strategy[edit]
Hunny Blasters is a mid-game Formchange with strong range and decent capabilities in single-target battles and mob fights. With a nigh-identical moveset to Double Arrowguns, its Multilock ability ensures its basic attacks can strike multiple enemies with ease, and Sliding Shot means Sora can still deal damage even when dodging. In duels, Auto-Shot is capable of landing multiple hits against single enemies, filling Situation Gauges easily to build up Situation Commands. Double Arrowguns should be considered instead for builds that capitalize on combo multipliers and can afford the higher skill floor, especially when facing opponents immune to the Honey status like bosses, Nobodies, Anchor Raiders, Spiked Turtletoads, and formation-mode Satyrs.
As Hunny Spout is a Guardian Form Keyblade, Hunny Blasters has a few defensive advantages over Double Arrowguns. Having access to Barrier and Counter Blast gives Sora a close-range option to deal damage quickly that also ease the use of a Shotlock, and Second Chance and Withstand Combo give it more focus over survivability. Since its attacks inflict Honey, it can slow down enemies long enough for Sora to evade the enemy and heal easily or as to more easily enable a combo, but note that this use is limited to mob fights as bosses are generally immune to the effect.
Because of the role emphasis on the Honey status, Hunny Spout benefits greatly from item cancel as to maximize such condition as quickly as possible, most notably by item cancelling Burst Shot, but Sliding Shot can also be used instead for a weaker yet easier alternative. Auto-Shot has minimal hitstun until the Honey status gets inflicted enough, so as to reduce vulnerability and ease accuracy a prior cast of Aero magic or usage of the King's Flare finish command is recommended, from there it can then be used to quickly prepare Situation Commands as to build up Grand Magic and other Formchanges. Hunny Blasters has minimal offensive pressure, and so it needs crowd control options like Second Form's Magnet Burst and Ultima Weapon's Infinity Circle to complement it as to ease breathing room for its ranged attacks.
