In Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Protect and its advanced forms, Protectra (プロテラ Purotera?, lit. "Protera"), and Protectga (プロテガ Purotega?, lit. "Protega"), are support abilities that reduce damage received by the user, with Protect reducing it by 10%, Protectra reducing it by 20%, and Protectga reducing it by 40%.

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Protect is a Dimension Link ability that reduces damage taken from physical attacks.
