Gummi Blocks (KHII)

From the Kingdom Hearts Wiki, the Kingdom Hearts encyclopedia
Jump to navigationJump to search

Gummi Blocks in Kingdom Hearts II come in a variety of forms and types that affect a Gummi Ship's stats and abilities during flight. Gummi Blocks are divided into two main categories: Material Gummies and Deco Gummies. Material Gummies form the base of the Gummi Ship, while Deco Gummies consist of Weapon, Movement, and Auxiliary Gummies.

Material Gummies

Material Gummies (マテリアルグミ Materiaru Gumi?), or Material/G, are divided into type by shape, they usually serve as the framework for a Gummi Ship. Material Gummies are divided into five types: Bevelled Gummies (エッジグミ Ejji Gumi?, lit. "Edge Gummi") have sharp edges, Curved Gummies (カーブグミ Kābu Gumi?, lit. "Curve Gummi") have rounded edges, Pipe/G (パイプグミ Paipu Gummi?) are cylindrical in shape[1], Aero Gummies (エアログミ Earo Gumi?) are flat pieces that give a boost in Mobility, and Gummi Lumps (セットグミ Setto Gumi?, lit. "Set Gummi") are several Gummi Blocks lumped together into bigger shapes.

Although Material Gummies are listed as if each shape has its own independent stock, all Material Gummies are treated as the same type of Gummi in a single stock.
