Keyblade-Blk.png So, we never really decided on a large issue with Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, and I'd rather bring it before I start and have my work burned... AGAIN. There are ninty-four missions in the game, and we haven't decided whether to create ninty-four seperte articles or to just have one article for them all. I think that we should create ninty-four pages; each one has different enemies at different levels, different multiplies for Heart Points, Munny, and EXP, and most (but not all) have Challenge Mission, which I have a already created a template for here: {{ChallengeMission}}. Not all mission are just smacking Heartless into the walls with combos; some are performing recon, or collecting Organization emblems. Therefore, each one has very different unique information that gives it enough information to have its own article. Plus, having ninty-four mission with bosses, multipliers, and strategies all on one page would be extremely cromded. Please leave feedback here, so that we can make an actual decision on this.

I agree on making a seperate article for every mission. If we put all missions on one page, the page would be too big. And every mission has different objectives, enemies and so on.

The levels of the enemies, their stats and drops, can basically be handled by the enemy's own page, so it's not so necessary to handle here.

I would suggest:

  • Mission number
  • Mission name
  • Applicable days
  • World
  • Heart factor
  • Munny factor
  • EXP
  • Emblems
  • Treasures
  • Clear Bonuses
  • Random Bonuses
  • Enemies
  • Mission Summary
  • Mission Intel

And then a brief walkthrough for the mission on normal, for 100% completion

Then, for the Challenges

  • Objective
  • Restrictions
  • Sigil requirements

And another brief walkthrough.

  • Possibly video walkthroughs as well.

It might also be a good idea to amass plot summary for these, at least on the talk page - the total plot should be accumulated on the world and character pages, I guess. (For example, Agrabah has been hit by massive sandstorms, and Aladdin is leading the rebuilding.)

That should be easy enough to do. If you want to handle this as an infobox, I can try to make one Saturday, but this week is going to be hell for me.Glorious CHAOS! 21:33, October 4, 2009 (UTC)

There should probably also be a see also, directory template, or category for missions of the same type - i.e., tests, recon, assassination, and heart-collection.Glorious CHAOS! 22:17, October 4, 2009 (UTC)

Keyblade-Blk.png Sounds good. I'll try creating an infobox, but I can only assume that it's possible with me. I'll contact you if there's any trouble. I was thinking that we name the mission similarly to comics on Sardapedia: Mission ##: Objective

For example: Mission 07: Collect hearts

I created a Sandbox in my user space with a very rough outline of how a mission page might look, based on the suggestions you guys have posted. It's far from perfect, so please feel free to tinker with it as needed. I don't have enough time to work out rough templates tonight, but since you guys are much better with that than me anyway, I put any information that would fit well in a template under headings called, um, "Template"; we should probably have two, one for normal missions, and one for challenges.

That's my two munny for now, anyway. I'll keep offering suggestions as things evolve.

Even if you do wrest control of my heart from me, even if you cast me into the deepest, darkest abyss, you'll never sway me from the one cause that pushes me to keep on fighting. Whatever the cost, I'm ready to pay it.

Earthshaker Keychain KHBBS.png Well, look at my first example of a Mission Page, Dusk Survival. If we format them like this, we shouldn't have a problem. I'd actually delight in making these pages, so please ping me when I can start. Some users aren't happy with this idea, though, but at least I have a future project in store... We should then do something with the template I created here, Forum:Missions Template. That could link to each page. Again, please ping me when I can start, and if you have any questions in terms of formatting and such.

TerraCharm.pngAbove is an example of the Missions Template I was talking about. Rather than writing the boring, uninformational "Mission _" title, I took the Mission Objective title used in the Days Guidebook. THIS IS STILL A WORK IN PROGRESS!!!! ANY OTHER CHANGES CAN BE MADE ONCE FINALIZED! Opinions?

Make mission and challenge templates, and added them into the layout at my Sandbox. Thoughts?

Earthshaker Keychain KHBBS.png I like it, but we shouldn't be using templates to fill space and only space. A page isn't just a template. But if we had the correct amount of information on a page, perhaps we could combine both my template AND yours.

The main reason I was using templates is for a) a quick-reference and b) so that information that would otherwise easily be lost in page text would be easy to locate. Is there any info that you think would be better placed in (or removed from) the template(s)? I'm certainly not attached to them in their current form in anyway.
