KILLED BY BR8K SPIDER!!!!!!!! ::::) — 03:09, 17 Decem8er 2011 (UTC)

Greeeeeeeetings, Kingdom Hearts Wiki! As you surely have realized 8y now, our amount of active staff mem8ers has 8lunderfully decreased. We 8n't got a lot more administr8ors who are around enough to manage this place regularly at this point. It will not 8e good if we allow this to 8ecome even worse, or even terri8le! D::::

8ut, there is a solution. I discussed this with one of your human leaders, Kr8tenKoro, and we are in 8eautiful agreement. Yes, that's right!!!!!!!! The time has come to consider the possi8ility of staff el8ctions and nomin8ions! ::::)

As you can eeeeeeeeasily see on the staff mem8ers page, there are many inactive staff mem8ers. However, even worse is the fact that so many of the active administr8ors and moder8ors are hardly active at all!!!!!!!! Having the special rights of a staff mem8er is USELESS if the staff mem8er is not even active! 8ecause of this, it is very pro8a8ly time to 8uffer up and revamp the staff of the site.

The time to act is N8W!!!!!!!! The longer we wait, the more d8nger the s8te's l8dersh8p is in! We need new m8ture, act8ve leaders f8r the st8ff, w8th the p8wer of the G8D TIER! Not anyone like Tavros or his imagin8ry Rufio friend or those f8key f8ke f8ke f8ries!!!!!!!!

Pl8se l8ve your opinions 8elow on this import8nt matter!!!!!!!!

Pchoooooooo!!!!!!!!

710MS.png Well, I'm not really asking to become a staff member, but I'm normally active everyday. However, whenever a meeting is on, I'm usally asleep, so that's one thing that I'm unable to do if I were to be a staff member. Another holdup is that I've got admin rights at another wiki. But if you guys want to nominate me, I'm okay with it.

The only good skills I've got for this wiki are for gathering infomation for KHII and BbS to help write down the walkthroughs. I also correct spelling errors on the pages for the said games.

20px-Pin_000.png Meh, I'd say maybe one more Admin is necessary, so move someone up to Admin status, then get two or three new mods. For mods, I'd recommend Inexistent or As if. I think that getting new mods is a more pressing issue, considering that we only have two fully active ones.

EDIT: It seems As if has gone "majorly inactive", so perhaps we should wait to nominate him.

No Name Keychain KHBBS.png No, No, No, No, NO!!!

This whole process, whenever we do it, always leads to complete and utter chaos, not to mention unnecessary Wiki-drama. To me, this Wiki does not receive enough IP/newbie activity for a bunch of inactive staff to be a problem, so long as at least two are actually still contributing! This Wiki, in comparison to The Keyhole, is dead in general (very little day-by-day activity from all users, etc.).

While I personally am against this whole thing, I would have to agree with Chitalian8. If anything, promote a user like The Inexistent or As if! to Moderator status. I would then promote one or two of the deserving users on our current list of Moderators to Administrator status so new Moderators can be added to the list.

If anything, lack of trusted regulars is the problem here, not inactive staff who don't edit 24/7. What I feel the Wiki needs is a group of trusted regulars who can watch it as often as possible for the occasional vandal or other issue while making good contributions, and then notify staff if a problem arises so that it may be properly dealt with. Staff in general are only truly needed when you have a site like The Keyhole, where "powers" such as deletion and the like are constantly needed to deal with the issues there (Staffers, ask yourselves this: "When was the last time you had to block a vandal or delete anything other than images here?"). I rest my case.
