Explosion (エクスプロージョン Ekusupurōjon) is an ability that appears in Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. In Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, it requires 3AP to equip.
Mechanics
In Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Explosion is an ability which provides Sora with a combo finisher. Sora lifts his Keyblade and thrusts it down, releasing three balls of light that circle around him, drilling into the enemy before knocking them away.
In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Explosion is a Level 5 Finish Command. Terra, Aqua or Ventus charges energy into their Keyblade briefly before slamming it on the floor, causing a large ripple of energy to erupt with small energy balls coming out.
Learning Explosion
Kingdom Hearts II
- Sora learns Explosion after defeating the Volcanic Lord and Blizzard Lord in Agrabah.
Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix
- Sora learns Explosion after defending the Solar Sailor Simulation in Space Paranoids.
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep
Explosion branches from Dark Star 1 for Terra, Magic Pulse 3 for Aqua, Air Flair 3 for Ventus and is obtained by earning 6400 CP points. Template:Section-stub
