The Data Worlds were created when King Mickey digitized Jiminy's Journal in order to solve the mysterious message that appeared in it once the journal was unlocking hidden memories. The message is "They are exactly the same as the real worlds, in data form, because Jiminy was traveling with Sora when he visted each of the real worlds."
