In ''[[Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories]]'', Dark Break is an [[Attack Sleight]] that Riku can access while in Dark Mode. To use Dark Break, Riku must stock three cards with a value of 5 through 15. While Dark Break is automatically excecuted completely in the original ''Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories'', in its remake, the player must press {{button|t}} whenever the symbol appears on the screen to add additional attacks to the Sleight.

Dark Break (ダークブレイク Dāku Bureiku?) is a technique introduced in Kingdom Hearts (game?). It allows the user to leap into the air and attack enemies from above, often dealing dark damage. It is a signature ability for Riku.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Dark Break is an attack sleight that Riku can access while in Dark Mode. In Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, attacks are added by pressing Triangle when prompted, while pressing Triangle at the wrong time cancels the sleight. The card combination for Dark Break is:
