Crime & Punishment (クライムペナルティ Kuraimu Penaruti?, lit. "Crime Penalty") is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts II. It allows the user to utilize two Keyblades to unleash more powerful versions of their spells.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts II, Crime & Punishment is an action ability exclusive to Final Form. It increases the effectiveness of magic and in some cases, changes how spells perform. Fire causes Sora's Keyblades to join the spinning flames and its magic finisher has a larger area of effect. A regular Blizzard spell releases two projectiles, while the finisher causes Sora to be knocked back as four projectiles are shot successively, followed by another pair. Thunder sends out multiple forks of lightning and the finisher increases each fork's area of effect. Lastly, the Reflect magic finisher causes both of Sora's Keyblades to spin in a circle around the barrier, damaging enemies who are hit.
