We don't use this template for anything and I don't see the need for it. Should we delete it? TheFifteenthMember 19:47, 9 July 2014 (UTC)

Its a good template deleting it would be a waste just make more Event pages. Byzantinefire (talk) 19:50, 9 July 2014 (UTC)
The template offers nothing substantial to the event pages since battles don't have clear-cut sides, strength and casualties so we're required to extrapolate a great deal. Infoboxes are meant to offer additional information that isn't found on the main article and the battle template doesn't do this at all; everything is already explained in the "Combatants" and "Story" sections. Wikipedia and several other wikias have those kind of templates and they don't have much of a problem with it. Byzantinefire (talk) 19:57, 9 July 2014 (UTC)
But we're not Wikipedia. Anyway, a third (and fourth) opinion? TheFifteenthMember 20:06, 9 July 2014 (UTC)

What else would you even use it for? --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 20:45, 9 July 2014 (UTC)

I think we're good to delete it. There's no use. We have so few actual battles that could use this template (Keyblade War, Battle of 100 Heartless, Battle against Xehanort in BBS, Final game battles, and that's it), that it doesn't make sense to keep it. Besides, as FM said, the battles are well documented in the body text, and the template parameters aren't easily answered by the game (there aren't clear sides or side names, no exact outcome, casualties, etc.). Yes, it works fine on Wikipedia, but because they document actual battles/wars with actual sides (countries, organized groups, etc.), actual casualties (deaths), and actual outcomes (monetary costs, casualties, agreements, etc.), things that don't exist in the Kingdom Hearts universe. As to your other "demand" (because it's worded as a demand/command), what events could we possibly make into articles that aren't already well documented in the articles already, and without the resulting articles being small and insignificant on their own? The consensus seems to be in favour of deletion. I'll add the deletion tag. TheFifteenthMember 00:28, 10 July 2014 (UTC)
