Should we make note of the obvious spelling error in the track name? - Challenge Sigil KHD.pngEternal Nothingness XIIIChallenge Sigil KHD.png 21:44, 5 January 2015 (UTC)

Yeah. I thought Xion made a typo. :p RikutheBloody 21:46, 5 January 2015 (UTC)
Haha, nope. It's an unexplained mystery from the soundtrack itself. So how do we go about it, a Trivia section? - Challenge Sigil KHD.pngEternal Nothingness XIIIChallenge Sigil KHD.png 21:53, 5 January 2015 (UTC)
Yep. Just like on Xion's music track. You can add it ^_^. RikutheBloody 21:55, 5 January 2015 (UTC)

I wonder if there is an interview explaining why the change in name. I can't imagine both the CD and the track list would allow a misprint...Nor can I imagine Shimomura letting it happen either. Xion4ever 22:10, 5 January 2015 (UTC)

Possible pun on Terminus. It should be possible to cover this without using a Trivia section, as those should be avoided at all reasonable costs."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 22:21, 5 January 2015 (UTC)
Possible pun on many things. Interview or it's just a misprint. - Challenge Sigil KHD.pngEternal Nothingness XIIIChallenge Sigil KHD.png 23:10, 5 January 2015 (UTC)
On the Square-Enix Japanese site it is spelt correctly... click. Xion4ever 23:34, 5 January 2015 (UTC)
Then what gives? As you said, I doubt Square would be so careless... - Challenge Sigil KHD.pngEternal Nothingness XIIIChallenge Sigil KHD.png 23:37, 5 January 2015 (UTC)

I recognize that I'm adding to a discussion that happened over a decade ago, and far be it from me to simply parrot the statement of a YouTuber, but there is evidence to suggest that "Xemnus" is an unintentional error, and that this page should be renamed to "Xemnas". Since Pat's video, the Days album was re-released on streaming services, which use the name "Xemnus". They did take the time to update the names of other songs (e.g. adding subtitles to each "Dearly Beloved", correcting capitalization on some others), but not this one. I don't disagree that it might have been a mistake originally, but I think we should go by the most recent publishing, which sticks with the "u". —Aid1043 18:34, October 17, 2026 (UTC)
Ah, I was unaware of the rerelease. I suppose that would complicate matters, since it begs the question of what the "u" is ultimately there for. Aidanzapunk (talk) 04:48, October 18, 2026 (UTC)
