Castle Oblivion[edit]

HueyTalk.png
Xiggie Buy / Sell Welcome! What do you wanna do?

Just because we're kids doesn't mean we can't run a business— {{{time}}}

Untitled-1.png Was there a Castle Oblivion World Card? I can't remember... was that the card that the Riku Replica drops? until someone brings in a good picture of it, can't we just use this picture?

Symbol Character - Mickey.png
FA icon.png I'm not sure about pictures. All I do know that there was a Castle Oblivion World Card (in Riku's story). Darn, if only my PS2 wasn't locked - I could easily check the D Report and bring in a nice picture.

It is pretty confusing, I remember playing Re:CoM again not that long ago and there was a difference, Sora never got that card but for some reason Riku did. And here's the weirder thing, since Sora didn't get one cause he already was in the Castle so it makes sense, but if Riku was already in the castle, then what was the point of getting the world card for the world you're already in?

TALK -
First off, Heartless, why don't you copy the code at Template:KrytenKoro and modify it so you don't have to type all that out all the time?

Second off - Sora was merely tracking down Marluxia and Namine. Riku was not actually in Castle Oblivion the floor, but was using the card to distill and incarnate the darkness in his heart so that he could defeat Ansem.

It never works for me for some reason but I just copy and paste anyway so its just as effective thanks. When thinking about the whole card thing it does make a little more sense, but while I'm at it, ever noticed how in Riku's story they keep saying Darkness a lot? I'm surprised they didn't use a thesaurus to look up other words to use. I could practically make a drinking game if I wanted too everytime they say Darkness lol.

Symbol Character - Mickey.png
FA icon.png Surprisingly enough, they do look up the thesaurus for the French version (there's "Ténèbres" and "obscurité"), but when it comes to English... the most commonly-used term is Darkness, and I guess they wouldn't wanna change it. They don't even replace it with "obscurity" !

KrytenKoro - Most bears were content to live their lives, mauling and eating one, maybe two humans at most. "Mass-murder," as the bears always said, "is for the sharks." But not Barry. Barry was different. He knew that one day, he would kill ALL of the humans. This is the inspiring, tear-jerking story of one bear and the dream he dared to dream.

Heartless, I went ahead and created the template for you. Just type {{HeartlessSlayer|text}}.

Characters and Heartless[edit]

209.png
KrytenKoro - "Give a man a fire and he's warm for the day. But set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life."
TALK -
Are the characters sections I have up acceptable? Also, do we want to add Heartless sections, since this page basically amounts to "Worlds of Chain of Memories"?

Finally, do we want to list the Halloween versions of characters, which are listed as world characters in Re:?

Symbol Character - Mickey.png
FA icon.png Methinks yes, and yes, I think we should add Heartless sections. There is an article on Heartless/Enemy cards somewhere - you might wanna take a look beforehand.

Halloween versions ? I'm thinking of listing them alongside their actual Re:Chain counterparts. What do you think ?

Order[edit]

209.png
KrytenKoro - "Give a man a fire and he's warm for the day. But set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life."
TALK -
The order of the cards in the card journal is a weird one, and I'd rather go by the order given by the order of the world characters - the same order the worlds can be visited in Kingdom Hearts. But, in case others disagree, here's the journal's world order:
  • Traverse Town
  • Agrabah
  • Olympus Coliseum
  • Wonderland
  • Monstro
  • Halloween Town
  • Atlantica
  • Neverland
  • Hollow Bastion
  • 100 Acre Wood
  • Twilight Town
  • Destiny Islands
  • Castle Oblivion

FA icon.png What an order ! :S Oh well, if it's the journal, it's the journal....

Reformat as table?[edit]

Do we want to use the logo in place of the name, like we do on the D-Link page?
Do we want a contiguous table, or rows for each section?
Do we want to cover the story for each world here, or on the main world article?
Do we want the Character, Heartless, Nobody galleries within the table, or after each row? If within the table, I'm thinking Journal moved below description, and characters, heartless, nobody in the next row. Combine Characters and Nobodies.

Journals[edit]

xiv) 100 Acre Wood

Pooh seemed to have lost his friends, so Sora stopped to help him look.

Maybe Sora saw something of himself in Pooh, since he's looking for friends too.

xvii) Castle Oblivion

Well, we've made it to the top. and many of our memories are gone. Sora can't even recall the name of the person he cares for most.

But we've made a promise. No distance can separate us, and we'll be friends even if we can't remember it to be so.

Axel is out of the way. We just have to stop Marluxia. He ordered Naminé to wipe Sora's memory, but it doesn't matter.

Sora knows that promises don't fade as easily as memories.

Re:coded World Cards[edit]

We need to figure out a way to deal with the actual World Cards from Re:coded."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 03:14, 30 May 2011 (EDT)

Spellbinder[edit]

Should Spellbinder be classified in 100 Acre Wood as attack card or rather with the rest of rewards?--213.195.177.146 18:48, 18 April 2013 (UTC)

One-Winged Angel and Diamond Dust[edit]

If those two cards are bounties for floors 11th-13th shouldn't be they listed in this article for each of three last worlds?--213.195.177.146 18:51, 18 April 2013 (UTC)

Images[edit]

The amount of images in the tables here take up way too much space. Aside from the actual world card images, I think everything else should just be text links. Thoughts? TheFifteenthMember 20:45, 16 September 2015 (UTC)

I like having the images for the Enemy/Boss/Treasure cards, but I think the character and enemy images are superfluous. Chitalian8 00:35, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
I agree, the Card Pictures are good and help represent this page, but the pictures for the characters and enemies are unnecessary and need to go and just replaced with regular links instead. -73.190.124.47 17:52, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
If the character and enemy images are superfluous, aren't the enemy and treasure card images the same? I don't really see a point to having those images either. TheFifteenthMember 17:54, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
The character/enemy pictures are here because these are technically separate worlds (as in Re:coded), and aren't supposed to have merged lists with the main world articles. If people don't think the distinction is significant (and honestly, I feel like the Digital Twilight Town could fairly be merged as well -- it is run out of the real Twilight Town, after all, and nothing I can remember indicates it has an actual World's Heart), then we can remove those rows entirely -- if people want to keep them, we can apply a hide tab to them. The reward cards are honestly the least necessary images, as they serve no unique purpose on this page -- if there are no objections, I'll go ahead and remove them now."We're werewolves, not swearwolves."
