Talk:Elrena

I know this is me talking, but what are we basing the "We can't say Elrena and Laurium are Larxene and Marluxia" on?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 15:18, 26 November 2018 (UTC)

Just a heads up: As mindbendingly obvious as it seems, until Nomura or SE say this is Marluxia's Nobodyhuman form, we can't say it. It could be a situation like No Heart (which was not actually Xehanort), like Vanitas (who was not actually Sora), like the characters in Re:coded (who are just mimicking their progenitors), etc.
For now, just put Marluxia in a "see also". Wink-wink nudge-nudge at this point, guys.
That's what you said on Lauriam's talk page.
I would like to add that, if we need confirmation on something super obvious like this, shouldn't we also need confirmation before saying they can wield the Keyblade? I mean, we haven't seen them with a Keyblade. TheSilentHero 17:51, 26 November 2018 (UTC)
I would definitely agree with the keyblade bit -- its absence is kind of glaring.
And thanks for the quote, I've got the bad memory."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 18:30, 26 November 2018 (UTC)

Larxene's Somebody[edit]

In Kingdom Hearts III, Xemnas confirms that Demyx, Luxord, Marluxia, and Larxene are all from the Keyblade War era, so are we able to mention Larxene on Elrena's page now, or should we wait until it's plainly spelled out for us? (Levi657 (talk) 16:22, 5 February 2019 (UTC))

I'd say wait for the explicit confirmation. Which will likely come after Demyx and Luxord's original selves are shown. CleffaGirl173 (talk) 14:53, 6 February 2019 (UTC)
I hate the term "Somebody." It's not even real and just plain sounds stupid. "Elrena was a Somebody, who then became a Nobody and Heartless, and now is a Somebody again." It's like bad fanfiction trying to be Jungian. "Human form", or even "recompleted" is infinitely better. --Samoa Joe (talk) 18:36, 6 February 2019 (UTC)
Axel says "We're people again" in DDD, and multiple characters refer to the old Org members being "human" quite frequently. Honestly, can't we just use the term "human" now that the games do? - Joveus (talk) 18:46, 6 February 2019 (UTC)
Not all KH characters are humans, so, the term "human" is not the most correct, since you are excluding for exemple Donald and Goofy. Somebody is a term that make more sense, since they are the complete version of Nobodies, and in KH3 the term Somebody is used, by the Mysterious Star.

"Who do that to you? Heartless steal hearts, so... a Nobody?"
"a somebody"
Ok, is not capitalized, but is the term that make more sense--93.150.192.195 18:53, 6 February 2019 (UTC)

Oh my god, dude. No. That wasn't said literally. If you can't understand figures of speech then......good lord above. --Samoa Joe (talk) 04:32, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
Samoa Joe: "somebody" is used many, many times in the series for a specific meaning. You are categorically wrong to claim it's "not real". It's not used as an explicit term, like "Heartless", but it is just as accurate as calling Hollow Bastion a castle.
Joveus: The games don't use "human" as a term any more than they use "somebody" as a term. It also uses "people" to refer not just to complete beings.
We're not having this discussion about how people dislike the word "somebody" again. Take your complaints to Nomura, it's his script. And Somoa Joe, quit the personal attacks -- not only are they against the rules, but you are wildly wrong about what the scripts say, so your patronizing is entirely undeserved."We're werewolves, not swearwolves."
