Other games[edit]

Does this need to be done for all the games or are some of them done? Eternal Flames KHD.pngChainoffirePizza Cut KHD.png 06:35, 8 July 2014 (UTC)

This would need to be done for all the games. I don't think any of them are done, though many songs have already been identified where they play. These notes are supposed to help fill out the List of Kingdom Hearts series tracks. I'd like to do all the games, but I no longer have Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts II, or Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, at least not in working order... Okay, I'm doing my course last module conclusion work, so I'm very busy lately, that's why I'm not active, but since I will probably start a new Kingdom Hearts 3D game and none of their musics, with a few exceptions on the List of Tracks page, have been listed yet, I will pick up his songs for you guys soon :) - MateusinhoEX 00:56, 20 July 2014 (UTC)
Ok, sure. I'll also fill them in to the best of my knowledge (thank you, YouTube), but if you're going to be actually playing it, go right ahead. It'll be more credible from you than me; in fact, I'll only fill field/battle themes, not anything else, since I'm not sure of some of them Diamond Dust Keychain KHFM.pngKeybladeSpyMaster Diamond Dust Keychain KHFM.png 01:51, 20 July 2014 (UTC)

Types[edit]

Could we possibly sort the tracks in List of Kingdom Hearts series tracks with a sort of symbol or a division to say if it is a battle song or a theme/cutscene song? I've having a hard time skipping past all the battle tracks to identify a song that isn't a battle tracks (but could possibly be listed on the page). yAgIogp.pngANX219 18:16, 9 August 2014 (UTC)

I don't know. Maybe a symbol? They're supposed to be in alphabetical order, and the idea is so that there's somewhere we can link the songs to, such as when I do this: Traverse in Trance. But I don't know if we can do something to divide them or something, especially since most of the songs aren't on that page yet. Our best reference point would be this page, just that our page has additional info (which are currently stubs, but will be expanded soon! yAgIogp.pngANX219 18:57, 9 August 2014 (UTC)

...Onwards?[edit]

Can we start adding tracks to the list now? Working our way from KH down to newer games--of course. We can start by making a list of all tracks we got that aren't on the list and mark them off as we go. yAgIogp.pngANX219 22:06, 9 October 2014 (UTC)

Please make it a chart. PLEASE. I'll help if needed but this is a good time to totally clean it up. Chaos Crystal KHBBS.pngColdAsFireChaos Crystal KHBBS.png22:12, 9 October 2014 (UTC)
I guess so. We're still not really done with Kingdom Hearts II, which I'd like to finish before we begin this too far. However, I'll try and take a strategy similar to the one I took with Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, and look at each scene. It'll take a while, though. As for a chart, I've been compiling a chart on Excel as I went along, but right now, it's in pieces. Give me a couple days to finish organizing it, and I'll post a link on here to it. I'll start coding it when you're somewhat done with it. It would be helpful if we made a Template:Musicbox or something to make it easier to add more pieces as they are released and correct for error later on. Chaos Crystal KHBBS.pngColdAsFireChaos Crystal KHBBS.png02:44, 10 October 2014 (UTC)

Summary of Discord Discussion 06.11.18[edit]

DaysXionHooded.png
OPXion4EverIcon.png Posting on here just to have it somewhere here. If I've forgotten something, someone else *cough ANX/Hero *cough* please correct/add it. Here we go:
  • 1) Composition Sections: Do not have to be a crazy/in-depth music theory analysis. Instead, make it a brief summary. Topics that could be explored: piece texture, tempo and any tempo changes, form, instrumentation (differences between games), any application to a story/character/other piece of music (Ex: Vector to the Heavens having both snip-its of Kairi's and Xion's themes), how the piece reflects the subject in question (Ex: Deep Jungle's theme is more primitive in nature = reflects jungle world), etc.
  • 2) Remaining info needed: COM (GBA version), Re:coded (HD 1.5 version) are nonexistent/incomplete
  • 3) Anything pertaining to KHUX/KHX/etc. should be noted on this forum and any user work in their userspace. Confirmed info (such as world field/battle themes) can be added to individual music articles, but the majority of this info is on standby until we get official confirmation on track titles/lengths/etc.
  • 4) Italicized "???" in KHX Back Cover signify [new] unnamed tracks ~ see ANX's comments in edit summaries
  • 5) Individual music articles should take priority on completion. If needed, fill in other sections and leave a section-stub template in the composition section.
  • 6) Massive hub pages like our current "List of tracks in the series" should be deleted. Instead, smaller hub pages broken down by soundtracks should be created. The current mega-hub "List" page should not be deleted until it is confirmed that all info currently on it is incorporated/already exists in this forum. There was mention of creating some kind of table for this...

...And I believe that is it... Anywho, great work, team! Let's keep marching along! </badpun>

Also to-do: check mini-games (all games), separate list Xion4ever 14:55, 12 June 2018 (UTC)

Confirmation from naming cutscenes[edit]

I think we should be using the Theater Mode page for naming cutscenes for when songs play instead of naming cutscenes manually. Don't forget the Mementos flashbacks from Dream Drop for those selective music tracks. - User:Darksora110 7:50, 19 June 2020 (UTC)

The theater mode article serves a different purpose. It is supposed to have a brief summary of each cutscene. Years ago, there was talk of having individual articles for KH cutscenes, KHII cutscenes, etc. and even individual cutscene articles. We include them in individual music articles to help fill out the page and provide context to people on how the piece relates to the game.

For the Mementos flashbacks, feel free to add a subsection in the KH3D section. Xion4ever 01:29, 20 June 2020 (UTC)

"Destati" and "Dive into the Heart -Destati-"[edit]

I'm calling into question the checking for both of these tracks. I'll do what I can on updating this info in the respective individual article, but more ears would be appreciated. In short: "Destati" is the battle theme, "Dive into the Heart -Destati-" is the overworld/field theme. However, in the field theme there is a section which very closely resembles "Destati." For cutscenes, I am going to assume people meant the intended "Dive into the Heart -Destati-" version. Until we double check this, technically those individual articles will be incomplete. Xion4ever 16:32, 28 June 2020 (UTC)

Sora in Smash (Tracks)[edit]

Confirmed from trailer; 9 songs, total:

  • Night of Fate
  • Destiny’s Force
  • Shrouding Dark Cloud
  • Hand in Hand
  • Blast Away! -Gummi Ship II-
  • Hollow Bastion
  • Scherzo Di Notte
  • Fragments of Sorrow
  • Destati

Also, if players have a save file of “Melody of Memory,” they can also download the “Dearly Beloved -Swing Version-“ track. Notice: This is the Super Smash name according to Sakurai’s presentation...although very likely for official KH name, we still need to wait for official confirmation/a KH album track list. Arrangement of “Hand to Hand” used in victory fanfare. Xion4ever 23:28, 5 October 2021 (UTC)
