A Wyvern lance is shorter than most of Xaldin's other weapons and has a light grey shaft. Its lower blade is dark red with an orange base and forks into two wing-like prongs. Etymology

A "Wyvern" is a type of winged dragon with only legs and no forearms. The name could also be a reference to the "Hiryū" of Final Fantasy II and Final Fantasy V, whose name was frequently translated as "Wyvern".

Fittingly, Xaldin commands the Dragoon Nobodies and uses the Jump command, and Final Fantasy II featured Wyverns as the chosen mount for Dragoons, which were also introduced in that game. Template:XaldinWeapons
